Very unprofessional experience. I went to this shop for an ABS problem on my Freightliner Cascadia. From the beginning, I told them I thought the issue was the tone ring, but they said it was the speed sensors and that it would take around 4 hours. I trusted them and agreed. They removed ONLY ONE TIRE and installed TWO SPEED SENSORS. I PAID FOR THE PARTS MYSELF. The problem didn’t go away, so they kept checking the truck but still couldn’t find or fix the real issue. At the end of the day, NOTHING WAS FIXED, but they asked for $1,700. After some back and forth, I ended up PAYING $1,500. Considering how little work was done and the fact that the problem was still there, THIS DID NOT FEEL FAIR. They also said they would CALL DOT AND ICE if I didn’t pay, which felt like INTIMIDATION. Even though I’ve a green card. I paid because I needed to get back on the road and didn’t want more trouble. After the payment, I ASKED THEM TO SEND ME MY INVOICE. Instead, THEY STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY MESSAGES AND BLOCKED MY NUMBER. The technician who worked on my truck was Mathew, and the owner is Bryan. Two days later, I went to another repair shop that actually knew what they were doing. They confirmed right away that the problem was the TONE RING, exactly what I said from the start. For ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY, PARTS INCLUDED, they replaced TWO TONE RINGS, THE DISC SET, AND ONE TIRE, and the ABS issue was fixed. Based on my experience, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. I don’t think they have the knowledge or professionalism needed for heavy-duty truck repairs.
