Mango Automotive (Downtown)

This body shop was absolutely amazing! The service was top-notch from start to finish. I dropped my vehicle off yesterday afternoon, and it was completed by this afternoon, such an incredibly fast turnaround! Joe was fantastic to work with. He was professional, friendly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Thank you for getting my family safely back on the road so quickly. I highly recommend this shop, if I could give them 100 stars, I would!

We had an excellent experience at Mango Downtown! Our car broke down outside Albuquerque and we were connected with the team at Mango by our insurance provider, so we were towed in there. We spent two hours in the office as we made arrangements to spend the night and both my husband and I were impressed with the honesty and customer service of the team up front, as well as how the entire staff interacted. The number one effort was to give drivers what they needed while listening to everyone's limitations and wants. The team was honest, and offered alternatives whenever possible. Listening to their interactions with the other customers they were serving as we waited for word on our car made us feel highly confident that we were in good hands. They made us feel welcome (including our dog), arranged for a ride to and from our hotel, and kept in ongoing contact throughout the entire process. They understood that we wanted to get back on the road asap AND safely, and they made it happen. We had a great experience with the team, Joe especially! We never want to be in that situation again, but if we have to be, this is the team we'd want to help us out.

Same day service, honest evaluation, for a good price. They sent me to my dealership because the faulty part was under warranty. When the dealership then messed up, the employees at Mango Automotive continued to assist. They told me the specific tests and results they ran and made sure I was able to reiterate the information to the dealership. When I asked if I could just bring it back to them since I preferred their service, I was told “you are welcome to, but I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable taking your money when this is still under warranty.” I will be recommending them to everyone facing car issues!

I have never been to an automotive shop in my life that acted with so much care and courtesy for their customer! They did a great job when I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and they were very courteous! Their customer service really wowed me! Pricing is reasonable and fair. I will absolutely return here and recommend others as well!

I’ve had a very good experience with Mango Automotive Downtown. Most recently they handled an oil contamination issue on my VW in a calm, methodical way and did not jump to worst case conclusions. They explained the possibilities clearly and laid out a sensible plan before moving forward. They used quality OEM equivalent parts, performed a thorough coolant flush, and scheduled a follow up check to make sure everything settled properly. I’ve also brought my daughter’s Subaru there for oil changes, new tires, and a battery. I work with Michael and he is always attentive and responsive. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me. Just straightforward communication and solid work. I feel lucky to have a shop like this within walking distance of my home and workplace in Downtown ABQ. Highly recommended.
