we had a blow out on the freeway and we were struggling to find a tire shop. our super awesome tow truck driver called one of his friends here at el vecino and they hooked us up on 4 used tired in good condition. they even had a small pool of water to check for leaks after balancing and mounting the tires. as someone who’s worked in the automotive industry for a long time i appreciate the ethics. 5 stars.
View on GoogleI was a damsel in distress with a flat tire on Sunset and Bridge. I walked over to them and let them know my situation with a flat that would not get air with my air compressor. He gave me a very great deal and came next door to get my flat tire off and got me all fixed up with the new one! My hero!

They’ve been super helpful and have been able to work with us on price very reasonably. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a mechanic who’s efficient and willing to try and work with you.
View on GoogleI wanted to say I really appreciate all the work the mechanics put into my Jeep. I know this wasn’t a straightforward job at all—especially with the warehouse sending two bad engines. That must’ve been frustrating on yalls end, and I recognize that a lot of those hiccups were completely out of the mechanics control. Through all of it, y'all stayed patient, kept me updated, and kept pushing to get it done right. That means a lot to me. I know replacing an engine is already a big job, and this situation made it even more complicated. Thank you for sticking with it and making sure my Jeep is finally taken care of. I really appreciate y'alls effort and professionalism.
