Brake Masters #126

My wife booked an appointment for us to have our engine checked at 2:30, but these people clearly have no respect for that, as they’ve kept me waiting for over 40 minutes without offering even a shred of attention—perhaps simply because I’m Hispanic and arrived speaking Spanish. The whole point of booking in advance is so you don't have to wait this long. Honestly, they seem completely laid-back and unconcerned—totally lacking any sense of urgency to provide good service. What a disappointment BrakeMasters turned out to be; I thought they were more professional.

An absolute horrific experience! I took my vehicle to this location for front brakes, they installed front pads on Tuesday, 11.23.25. I had to take my vehicle back to this particular location. My front brakes were squeaking, extremely loud. I took my car back to this location on Thursday, 3.5.26. The manager stated I needed rear brake pads. I had the rear brake pads replaced. However, what was strange, the noise was coming from the front. Now, I am getting what appears to sound like a grinding noise, and squeaking that is coming from the front brakes. I had a very similar experience at the Alameda location, here in Albuquerque, a couple years ago. I gave Brake Masters a second chance. Never again, what a huge mistake. The only reason I reconsidered, this location and Brake Masters. It was next to the Albuquerque VA. Where I receive my medical care. And, on occasion, I assist other veterans, as I am an advocate for veteran’s and people with disabilities. When I took my car back after hearing the outrageous squeaking, the first time. The manager could not find my vehicle information under my number, or plate. That was a major concern and it indicated to me, they were making my situation, more difficult. An extremely pathetic experience. From now on, I will take my car to another mechanic. Never ever again, will I give this particular Brake Masters, or any Brake Masters. My business, and spend my hard earned money on a business that can’t seem to find my important and pertinent information, in their database or computer system. As, a retired army veteran, military advocate, for veterans, and myself, being 100 percent disabled veteran. Never, ever again, will I ever take any vehicle to any Brake Masters. I will not recommend this, or any Brake Masters, to any of my friends, relatives or anyone, for that matter. Most importantly, any of my fellow-veterans, out there. I should have learned my lesson, the first time!

I am very grateful for the service recently provided by Julian and his team; not only was my car repaired in a timely manner as promised, I also received an honest evaluation for these repairs that ultimately saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend their services:)

The service was quick and the job was done right. Vince and his team are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to explain things and make sure that you are taken care of.

Great service for an unfortunate situation. I broke down while visiting and although it was a semi-peicey fix (due to the price of the parts not service/labor) Vince was very helpful, friendly, and professional. The team performing the work had to be equally as good in order for him to keep his word on the estimated time but he kept me updated and was transparent the entire time. This is now my favorite location and I don't mind traveling further if needed. Thank you to everyone and especially Vince. #Black pathfinder 🤙
