Incredible. Let me say i do almost everything on the Jeep myself and don’t trust anyone to touch it, but with this i didn’t have a choice, the vehicle was dead and too complicated for me. We had what you might call a freak accident with our electrical system where the wiring harness shorted out and started an electrical fire. They took the job on with confidence and professionalism. We have a 93 Jeep Wrangler so the electrical system is relatively simple compared to modern cars but certain replacement parts can be hard to find. They couldn’t find a new wiring harness (and neither could I after hours of research and I know what I’m looking for) so they had to do the tedious and time consuming job of replacing each wire individually, ensuring all the connections were correct and up to code. They did all this in about 3 days, at less than they quoted, and lined me up with a tow truck that charged less than most. Communication was honest and clear, the work looks well done, and I drive the Jeep home today with no worries. That’s so important because I use this Jeep everyday for work, not an off-road toy. They work first come first served, so no long wait times on appointments. Call them for anything you need, Shawn will help you out. I had a very positive experience. There were a bumps in road trying to get a good part, but from start to finish they stayed problem solving until car was fixed. Outstanding service. I dealt with Sean mostly, but twice with owner. Both were fabulous and I felt they delivered excellent customer service and the truck is running like a top. I would not hesitate to recommend. I feel like I finally found a good mechanic.

I was worried I wouldn't find anyone to fix my car, so I could drive out and attend my baby brother's funeral in TX. Let me tell you about American Auto Clinic... their price couldn't be beat, and mind you, I called a lot of places around town. Not only was their price lower than others, but they were also friendly, professional, and they knew their craft! I dropped off my car in the morning, and by lunch time, my car was ready. Drove to TX that weekend and had no problems with my car overheating nor the thermostat needle sticking to one position only. I was able to have a worry-free drive out of town and back. I brought my car in for wheel stud replacement because I was quoted a lower price than other shops, which seemed promising, though still on the expensive side. Unfortunately, the quality of work and transparency did not match the cost. They quoted (and charged) me extra for "necessary" hub removal to perform the wheel stud replacement, but based on the bent dust shield (see attached photo) left scraping against the rotor, I doubt they actually removed the hub. The car made a loud screeching noise as soon as I started driving, which they could have easily caught with a test drive. It seems they didn’t bother to test the car at all. This cost me 1.5 hours bending back the dust shield myself in an unfamiliar area as a female, which was very upsetting considering I sought these services to save my time.. They also claimed that one of the studs that had broken prior to repair was the one to the wheel lock lug nut, which was not true. They also told me they couldn’t find the wheel lock key when performing repairs, even though it was in my glovebox. They never even tried to contact me when they supposedly couldn’t find it. Their comment about not being able to find the wheel lock key is what prompted me to check my photo prior to repairs showing the lock nut was there (see attached photo). It isn't even expensive to get a new set of lock nuts, so i am just disappointed in the dishonesty. At best, they may have replaced the damaged stud at no extra cost. But the lack of care, attention to detail, and questionable honesty left me very disappointed. This place was even recommended by a friend, due to their "honesty", but I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

Outstanding Customer Service. Sean and Rusty and their crew go Above and Beyond, providing Great Customer Service. My 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis was not passing emissions. Sean was able to diagnose the problem and order a new computer, which had to be programmed. And they also changed the thermostat and oxygen sensor, along with other sensors. They also took my car to the DMV center on Broadway Street for me, and made sure that it was going to pass the emissions test, which it did. Once I got my car back, it was ready to go. That is what I call Outstanding Customer Service! They have also worked on my car before, and they always let you know what the problem is before they proceed.
