Always Honest and Fair Service!! John always does a great job with our older vehicles. Does a great job of laying out options for extending the life of a part or replacing. He knows we don’t want to put a lot of money into the vehicles and he helps us keep them running with minimal costs. John always provides great service. Have been a customer for 20+ years!!.
View on GoogleWe recently moved to Omaha and, by chance, struck up a conversation with a stranger named Barney in the parking lot of a local Walmart. He inquired how we liked our Honda CR-V, and, as luck would have it, he then told us, newcomers, that there's only one place to have it serviced. This led to an endorsement for "Omaha Japanese Auto Repair" and to ask for John (the owner) when we arrive. Well, we just finished our first visit for an oil change and a couple of other maintenance concerns...and WOW, were we impressed. I've been around for a while, and this was genuine old-fashioned service and care that you can hardly find anymore. So, I'm writing this review as a "pay it forward" ... comment. It's definitely worth your time to give them an opportunity, and you'll likely be as impressed as we were. One more thing: they only work on Hondas and Acuras, which, for me, meant that they must know what they're doing.
View on GoogleFantastic communication, direct and to the point, verified my concerns (starter was failing) and got my vehicle back to me pretty quickly. Also did a lot of maintenance items I had been putting off and fixed the noises I had in my front suspension. I will definitely return if my Honda has any other issues.

He will take the time to look under the hood with the customer and explain what is going on. I go to John for all my Honda repairs. Thanks Omaha Japanese Auto!
