JENSEN TIRE & AUTO

I had new shocks and struts installed on my truck at Jensen’s Auto location on N. 203rd Street in Elkhorn. Shortly after picking up the vehicle, I noticed an unusual sway at highway speeds that was not present before the work was performed. Concerned, I inspected the suspension components myself and discovered that four bolts on the shock tower had been left loose to the point that they could be turned by hand. Even more alarming, the lower bolt securing the shock was also left loose. This was not a minor oversight. These are critical suspension components, and a failure to properly tighten them could have created a serious safety hazard for me, my family, and everyone else sharing the road. To make matters worse, during a subsequent oil change at another shop, I was informed that the oil filter had been grossly over-tightened. The technician reportedly struggled to remove it and nearly could not do so at all. This raises additional concerns about the quality of workmanship and attention to detail at this location. Leaving essential suspension fasteners loose after performing suspension work is unacceptable. It demonstrates a troubling lack of care, quality control, and basic safety procedures. Customers trust professional mechanics to return their vehicles in a safe, roadworthy condition. In my experience, that trust was seriously violated. I cannot recommend this location. The loose suspension hardware alone could have resulted in a dangerous accident, and the additional issue with the oil filter only reinforces my concerns about the quality of work being performed here.

I am so happy and relieved that Jensen tire was nearby to me when I had a flat tire. Everyone there was fantastic. They worked me in their schedule. They got me a new tire and got it all done in record time. I couldn’t be happier. THANK YOU

I've been going to Jensen for my regular oil changes for a few years now, and they have always done a great job. The employees are friendly, the service is good and quick, and they have never tried to convince me that my car has an issue that it didn't have. Even when I came in worried about my brakes and it would have been easy for them to tell me I needed some work done on them, they checked the breaks and told me that they looked good. I trust Jensen to do a good job and not overcharge me.

Went to have an alignment done and it turns out my truck didn't need one at all. Everyone was 100% honest with me and that goes a long ways. They printed out my camber, caster, and toe. Everything was in the green. They could have easily charged me but didn't. Nice to know there's mechanic shops that are still honest. Thank you

This was my first experience at a Jensen Tire & Auto and it was fantastic. Both of the men at the front counter were very friendly, but I primary worked with Zach, and he was great. This location is very conveniently located (close to our home) and based on my experience buying tires this week, I hope Jensen can become the place for all my truck maintenance needs. They at least earned the opportunity, and so as long as my future experiences match my experience from this week, I will become a loyal customer. Thank you Zach for the excellent service!
