Bike Masters

Great local shop, which are few and far between in Omaha and the state of NE. Always greeted with a welcoming smile and the common courtesy no matter if a beginning biker or the most seasoned rider. My most recent experience involved picking the brain of local bike fitter Johnny B. I am in the process of having a custom built bike and I needed to bounce thoughts off someone that understands the bike industry and bikes in general. Even with a tight fitting schedule, Johnny invited me to bring my current bike in as well as allowing me to ride a factory ride similar to my build to make sure my build dimensions were on the mark for my body characteristics and riding style. It was an awesome experience and I greatly appreciate Johnny carving out time to meet with me. Even though I’ve been biking for 5+ decades, I walked away with a greater perspective and understanding of the current bike industry, bike geometry, components, and fitting tidbits. Thanks Johnny and Bike Masters for a wonderful experience.

Went into the shop looking to get help with buying a bicycle and a bike hitch for my car. Guys in the shop standing around. Didn’t greet or acknowledge me. I know I’m not the typical “biker” but I am a travel nurse looking to enhance my recreation time being away from my home. Missed out on a 1k purchase in this economy. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I stopped in to have the tube on my granddaughters bike replaced and asked how much a tune up might be. The young man I spoke to said he could change the tube out while I waited, but if I wanted a tube up I’d have to leave the bike and it might be three or four weeks. He offered to give the bike a quick once over while he changed the tube out. When he was done a bit later he said he’d adjusted the brakes, checked the drive train, and thought everything else was good to go. I love recognizing great service, so I’m happy to point out how well I was treated. This was not my first interaction with the crew at Bike Masters and I will definitely be back. These are good people!

The Bike Masters staff is the best I’ve ever come across in over 30 years of dealing with bike shops. They’re professional, knowledgeable, and will bend over backwards to make you happy. I had them build a custom 2026 Specialized S-Works Crux, and it came out even better than I was imagining. The store is massive, and they carry more kinds of merchandise than you kind find in an internet search, even brands that are from Italy! 🇮🇹 Do yourself a favor, and give them a try; you wont be disappointed.

I purchased a bike here that 5 months later turned out to have a manufacturer defect. I brought it back to the shop three separate times, and they still could not fix the issue. After getting nowhere, I asked them to submit a warranty claim, but they never did. I eventually contacted Specialized myself, and they confirmed there was a problem with the bike and reached out to the shop directly. Even after Specialized confirmed the defect and approved a credit for a simple chain replacement that would have fixed the issue, the shop still refused to honor the warranty. Instead, they blamed the problem on “how I rode it,” despite the manufacturer clearly stating it was a malfunction with the bike. This shop has a complete lack of accountability and customer support. Rather than trying to resolve the issue professionally, they seemed more focused on blaming me and avoiding responsibility. Not to mention the fact they are just plain rude every time I talked to someone there. I would not recommend buying from this shop if you expect reliable service, honest warranty support, or a business that stands behind the products they sell.
