Excellent service! Will definitely be coming back! I made an appointment for an oil change but over the last few days, my car was making a weird noise. Adam checked me in early and Andy (mechanic) took a look at it. He knew right away it was the water pump that needed to be replaced. He showed me the issue and said it was so bad he would not recommend I drive it again until it was fixed. Andy helped me get the car seat out and Adam kept checking to see if I found someone to give me a ride home. They got it done in record time, and there was very little inconvenience on my part. They were across-the-board wonderful and professional! Andy mentioned several other issues that needed to get fixed, however was great about saying they could wait but here’s what we need to do today to keep you driving safely.

So ive been debating posting this, but I feel as though i should to possible save someone else the headache theyve caused me. I brought my vehicle in for what felt like a brake problem & they diagnosed the issue as worn shocks/struts messing with the abs system . The repair was done correctly, however, I was grossly overcharged for the parts. For the front struts they charged me $428.06 per strut (monroe brand) the same shock can be purchased for $131.09. That's a 306% markup. For the rear they charged me $191.76 per shock (Monroe brand) the same shock can be purchased for $80.99. That's a 100% markup. Attached are my invoice & vendor pricing of the parts that were installed. This should be illegal. I already know their reply will be something along the lines of "Our pricing reflects quality parts, professional installation, and the expertise of our technicians." I'm posting this to warn people of their shady practices. My family had nothing but positive experiences from the prior owner (Bill/Mr. Muffler) it's clear they are now prioritizing profit over fair practices regarding the customer. They also wanted to charge me $300 to change the spark plugs on my 4 cylinder engine (half hour job max). I attached that quote as well. Also they were planning to add a bunch of unnecessary repairs. When I got quoted for the price, I thought it also included brake pads and drums. I told them to do the "essential repairs" and given I was having a braking issue, I assumed that would be part of it. Given that they did not repair my brakes, I can only assume that they were fine to begin with and planned on doing unnecessary work to my vehicle. I personally would think that if someone plans on replacing brakes, especially drums, that it would be an essential need. Take your vehicle somewhere else & save yourself some money. Edit: I've also since received multiple quotes for different places in the area for hundreds of dollars less.

Honest, fair, and reasonable pricing. Like back in the day neighborly service, they go the extra mile. My vehicle is back to purring like a kitten again. They were highly recommended by many...glad I went to Jefferson Auto Service in Romeo! Thank you all at Jefferson! I will be back for routine oil changes and maintenance.

Great customer service and great repair experience! I was looking for a new shop after my previous shop took six weeks to change the coolant hoses and coolant and did a poor job on my BMW. I appreciate that they allow me to bring my own parts and oil. Most of my vehicles take special oil. They have made a new customer and I’ll be sure to give them referrals.
