Muffler Man of Cooley Lake

I had a frustrating experience with these guys. They quoted me $300 for a simple bolt-on exhaust, which is just unbelievable. I found a much better deal at Painless Autoworks down the road for only $80. It was an easy installation—just bolted it on, no welding needed. I was shocked at the price difference and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Their pricing is simply excessive.

We have taken our car here twice and they are very honest, and do great work. It is so hard to find good mechanics that you can trust. I’m glad we found this one!

My father went with me to ask why they charged me almost $100 for a diagnosis when we already knew what had to be replaced. The man at the front desk said that I never said it was the condenser and basically called me a liar when the first thing I said when I walked in the door was “My a/c isn’t running cold, I tried to charge it myself and it all leaked right out. There’s a hole or leak in the condenser. Is that something that can be repaired? Or does it have to be replaced?” I vividly remember saying is that something that can be repaired or does it have to be replaced. And the man said that I never said that. I’ll never go to a mechanic by myself again. Women ALWAYS get taken advantage of. If you didn’t trust my judgement when I said it was the condenser you can just say that. I didn’t know any better and thought the diagnosis might be a normal part of the process until I drove around to other shops and got quotes for FREE. Not to mention the lowest quote I got was almost $300 cheaper!! Do not take your business here. They will take advantage of people that don’t know any better and steal your money. Customer service when confronted by an upset customer was not there!! You were rude and essentially called me a liar because you couldn’t fess up to being a thief who takes advantage of people. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO BETTER PEOPLE.
