Mr Muffler

Called 3 other muffler shops, sll told me can't see me for another 6 or 7 days. I called Mr muffler they told me bring it in open at 8 am ... it's 1st come 1st served. So I arrived 8 am took my car in checked it telling me it's a Flex pipe and would be 300.00.. which is fair price ... had me in and out about 30 min.. fast and fair prices..

Phenomenal service! I am highly recommending their service. I apparently hit my tailpipe as a result of running over an island, I didn’t see at night. I subsequently notice my tailpipe was not in tact and bolted to muffler/chassis. I called Jay over the phone and explained my issue; I decided to come in to there shop the same afternoon. Jay and Keith assessed job and gave me a very reasonable price to re-bolt tailpipe to muffler, install flange, new bolts and actually torch and reshape tailpipe to attach to support bracket and exhaust bumper hole. Jay is extremely skilled! As well as his partner Keith! They successfully restored my tail pipe and connection; very efficiently (with in 2 hours or less). I felt right at home in their shop. Chopping it up; talking fish tales, and common interest with Jay and Keith! Great customer service!! They even reduced the price. I am a customer for life!!! Highly recommend Mr Muffler Shelby Township on Van Dyke & 23 mile!!

Poor customer service, called them on 4/14/2025 to get a quote on new oil pan for a 2018 Ram 1500 I spoke to Mike since the other guy, Jay is useless and doesn’t even answer/return phone calls! I explained what’s needed to be done to my truck and Mike said he will get back with me in a few hours with a quote (4/14/2025). Next day Tuesday, 4/15 I decided to follow up and gave Mike a call since they never called back, Mike said, I still need to punch in some numbers and will call you shortly (still 4/15/2025). Two days later, Wednesday, 4/16/2025 I called the shop again for multiple times until someone picked up the phone which why I mentioned “Poor Customer Service” I asked to speak with Mike, 3 minutes later, Mike gets on the phone with a bad attitude and he didn’t even allow me to talk but he hang up on me. If you don’t have the skillset to perform this type of job (replacing oil pan) just be straightforward with your customer rather than being disrespectful and unprofessional! Very disappointing and will never do business with them again!

TOOK MY CAR IN FOR BRAKE FLUSH. PAID FOR THE SERVICE, OPENED MY HOOD TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR TO ONLY FIND OUT ITS THE SAME OLD FLUID. NOW I KNOW BREAK FLUID IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DARK BROWN, IT IS CLEAR FLUID. THE MECHANIC INSISTED HE CHANGED IT WHEN I CONFRONTED HIM ABOUT IT. I DONT THINK HE EXPECTED I WOULD TAKE A LOOK BECAUSE HE SEEMED VERY NERVOUS AND SURPRISED. MECHANIC IMMEDIATELY OFFERED A REFUND WHEN CONFRONTED WITH OUT ME REQUESTING IT. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES FOR THE BEFORE AND AFTER I DID THE JOB MYSELF AND CHANGED THE FLUID. UPDATE: THE OWNER JAY HELPED ME BY GETTING MY CAR SERVICED PROPERLY AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECTLY.
