I can't recommend Car-Aid on Van Dyke enough! Finding a mechanic you can actually trust is usually a nightmare, but this place is a total gem. As a female, I’ve had my fair share of experiences where mechanics try to "mansplain" or overcharge for things I don't need, but that never happens here. They are incredibly respectful and honest—they won't take advantage of you. They explain exactly what’s going on with your car without any of the typical games. A few things that really stand out: Family Owned: You can tell they take personal pride in their work. You're treated like a person, not just another invoice. Reasonably Priced: Their rates are very fair, especially for the high quality of work they do. Hardworking & Fast: They don't let your car sit around for days. They work hard to get you back on the road as quickly as possible without cutting corners. If you’re looking for a shop that is fast, reliable, and actually has integrity, definitely give them a call. It’s the only place I’ll take my car now!

Very impressed with this business. They did a complete inspection on my daughter’s vehicle and gave me a full report that included pictures and video of necessary repairs. They were very up front and honest about the process and we got her car back quickly. It’s tough to trust auto repair businesses but my first impression with Car Aid was very good. I will be back

It’s not often that a visit to an auto mechanic reaffirms your faith in humanity, but after a visit to Car Aid on Van Dyke, I can testify that it can happen. These guys are awesome. They always work efficiently, go the extra mile to check and fix little things, but never try to upsell you on further services. They are also very friendly and approachable. On the occasions that an inspection has turned up something, they’ve always given me options and been realistic about how much it would be and should I prioritize it or not. Throw in friendly service at the counter, a clean and comfortable lobby area, and the ability to make appointments online, and you’ve got yourself a great service shop. Given that auto repair is sometimes known to be a notoriously dishonest, hit and miss industry, Car Aid is one of the few establishments I’ve found that hasn’t given me cause to doubt them. I am most definitely going to be a repeat customer.
