I had a car shipped from out of state and it had some upper valve train noise that I recorded. I called Bruce at Heads Up and he asked if I could come right over. After seeing and listening to the video, he said there was an issue and he'd call when I could bring it in. The call came and once there he said he'd pull the valve covers and see what was going on. A few hours later, I get a call. I was expecting a bad news call. Instead, it was to tell me he was done and come get it. Valves and rocker arm adjustments and the valve train was quiet. I have found a place for any engine work I may need in the future. Thrilled with the honesty and outcome. Thank you Bruce. 10/1/2024 edit After a summer with the car I decided to go with an overdrive transmission. I checked with Bruce and asked if he had any suggestions. He said he could do the swap. He got the trans, converter and misc. parts. The process took less than a week. He found a couple of other things while the car was with him that he fixed, too. Again, completely satisfied. 9/10/2025 edit Heads Up Racing bailed me out again. I have a car up for sale at a cosigner and it was stuck in neutral. I was told to get the car hauled over and he'd check it out. Less than one day the car was fixed and it's back up for sale. Another great job.

View on GoogleBruce is a nice guy to talk to, but I spent $7,700 on an engine rebuild and within 6,000 miles a valve dropped and destroyed one of the pistons.This was a daily driver, not a race car. Unfortunately after it happened, only then did I find out he reused old parts on my engine during the rebuild. He told me sorry and that was as far as he went to help me out. Like I said, he seems like a nice guy, but cmon man you gotta be good to the people that come to you and support your business.
View on GoogleWon't return calls was recommended by a tow truck driver to repair a 438 big block roush engine on a 1996 Ford Mustang Show/ Muscle car. Bruce doesn't return calls. I contacted Bruce a week ago and he said to call back Tuesday (this past) spoke with him for a minute today and he abruptly said let me call you back. I've left several messages for him in the past couple of days if they can't do the job they should let people know instead of dragging it out
