Jason Betts and his manager Chris Rankin are hero’s and saved my day. The new key fob I had ordered from the parts department had frequency issues and Jason tested it on the spot! No appointment or anything and Jason solved my issue in minutes! He ordered me a new key and his manager Chris reimbursed me for my towing fees and diagnostic fees due to my key not being programmable. This meant the world to me, as I had unnecessarily spent more than what I had intended with a tow and diagnostic fees thinking there was something wrong with my vehicle. These two gentlemen are the definition of great customer service. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. God bless you.

I wanted to share my appreciation for the excellent service I received from BMW Farmigton Hills, Mike Hood, during my recent visit. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to help me right away, my waiting time was almost zero. When I asked how to change my car key battery, instead of just explaining it, he immediately opened the drawer and replaced it for me on the spot without hesitation. Before returning my keys, he also made sure my car was properly charged. Overall, it was a very satisfying and smooth experience. Mike’s attentiveness, efficiency, and willingness to help made a real difference, and I truly appreciate the level of care he provided.

Dan Richardson (parts advisor) and Eric (parts manager) do not treat customers how they should be treated. They do not care about customer satisfaction. A brand new key fob that I had ordered from them happened to not work and was not programming to my vehicle, after being told by BMW that it will. Mind you, my only existing working key fob was stolen along with my jacket at a restaurant weeks before this. I tried everything to get the new key fob to work I jumped the battery and nothing. I figured there was something wrong with my car thinking there’s no way bmw messed this up. So I towed it to a very reputable shop, Dixon motors and paid the diagnostic fee to figure out what was going on. I did not want to overpay on diagnostics with bmw service. After Dixon told me the computer was not allowing the key to program and could not recognize any frequency from the key fob I figured well this is BMW’s problem now. I went back to BMW parts in Farmington. The first gentleman I spoke with, Dan, turned out to not be such a gentleman nor was his manager Eric. I explained to him my situation. keys were robbed, no car in weeks, paid for tow and diagnostic to see why new key was not programing, diagnosis was that the key fob had zero frequency which bmw service later confirmed to be true. Clearly, somebody had made a mistake from wherever my new key fob was shipped from and this was not my fault. Dan very quickly developed an attitude with me and confidently stated that bmw never makes these mistakes. I asked for his manager and called my mother to send me pictures of the envelope with my vin number which the new key fob was shipped in. I overheard Dan telling his coworker that there was an unsatisfied customer (me) saying bmw made a mistake and jokingly stating that there was no way I get reimbursed for anything. I instantly got off the phone to confront the man and he lied to my face, raising his voice and denying everything I just overheard him saying. I quickly asked for his manager and did not argue or raise my voice at this man once. Eric finally comes to speak with me, after explaining my story and why I think someone needs to be held accountable, he tells me I’m gonna have to pay for towing and diagnostics twice now since I didn’t bring my car to bmw first. Tells me there is no way I’m getting reimbursed and it was my fault I towed the vehicle to Dixon instead. I asked him to test the key fob so we can prevent going through the trouble of towing and paying another diagnostic fee hoping they can confirm it was the key and then order me a correct replacement. He tells me to go to service and that he can’t do anything for me. So I asked him, let’s say I tow my vehicle here I pay for another diagnostic fee and we come to the conclusion that the key fob was bad this entire time. He responds with, then you’re gonna have to pay twice and there’s no reimbursements. At this point I just wanted someone to show me some respect and understanding. These two men were being very negative and seemed like they hated their jobs. I ask him one last time how can we fix this, he then proceeds to put his hands on my papers from Dixon motors and the towing fee receipt and aggressively pushes them to the side, slightly crumbling them on the counter. Tells me to go to service one last time and that if my key has warranty we can get you a new one ordered with a fake and condescending smile.

Best place to service your BMW. Everyone is friendly and the prices are surprisingly in line with aftermarket shops and they picked up my car. Highly recommend
