Lonnie's Auto Repair

I've taken my cars to Lonnie for the past 20 years. I had a new 2004 Youkon I had it 19 years. 350,000 miles when i gave it to a relative in 2022. It's still running. Lonnie took care of that Youkon. I'm now taking my pre-owned 2016 Tahoe there. I had my first real issue. Dropped off and returned from Work. problem solved. No upsale no gouging. When my daughter got her first pre owned encore in 2016. Lonnie became her repair shop also. She dropped it off, and they repaired whatever the issue was. Called her to tell her the car was ready. When I presented hours later to pay for the work I asked "where's the car?" Lonnies: Oh, we let her go ahead and take it we knew you were coming at some point...lol. Good Guys.

There are just not enough positive words to say here about Lonnies… it starts when you give a phone call to them and Derek gets on the phone with you and helps you with anything and everything you need and then when it comes to taking your vehicle in, you know that Lonnie himself will take care of you until he figures out what’s wrong with your vehicle and he will keep that vehicle until they fix it. That’s just all there is to it. We were in a situation where our Dodge journey gave him a problem that was so bad that he had to have our car for months and we do mean months because the problem was that odd strange off the cuff. Now I wanna stress here. You’ve gotta be the kind of person that doesn’t complain when someone’s trying to figure out what’s wrong with your car. You can’t keep pushing and telling them you want your car right now when someone’s trying to scratch their head and figure out what’s going on and we allowed him that time ..we allowed him that space to do what he needed to do to find out what was going on and we’re so happy that we did that … we allowed him to mentally put a checkmark on it and know that it was completed. we were able to rest assured that we knew that he had done everything until it was fixed and that we could just relax about it and know that if we needed it done again, he would do it again and again and again …every single person at this station is an outstanding individual ..every single person at the station smiles… talks to you is personable and you can just ask them about anything and you know you’re gonna get to help you need. we can’t think about going anywhere else. Lonnies is our go to place and will remain that way. In between Lonnie and Derek, you can’t ask for a better team working together to get your car in there and get it done. Thanks guys. They had my car in and finished on the same day. Tune up, oil change and a few other things. The price was reasonable and the man who I interacted with (so sorry, I forgot his name… Derrick maybe) was super pleasant and patient.

I’m not sure where to begin. Lonnie truly went above and beyond for me. He didn’t just fix my car; he genuinely cared about my well-being. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and even stayed until 2 AM to ensure my truck was repaired. I’m grateful for his effort. I’ll be recommending Lonnie to my entire online audience for car repairs, and I hope this review encourages you to bring your vehicle to him. He believes in doing things the right way, and integrity is rare these days. If you need anything done on your vehicle, Lonnie is the one to go to! I highly recommend NOT going to this establishment because all Lonnie does is lie, lie, lie. Car took forever to be repaired and the front brakes need to be rebled because they were not done properly. I'm not even going to bother to take it back my husband can't do it but I sure as hell will. Was told entire brake system was bled the back we're not touched at all. Only reason I took it there was my husband just had surgery and was unable to do it. Refused to use parts that were on the rest of the vehicle in a brake kit that fit specifically that vehicle and the back had already been replaced with the kit. Told me the test drive would take over a half an hour, where were they driving to Detroit? I definitely will never take my vehicle there ever again. Because of the poor quality my husband missed multiple post-op doctor appointments. I never heard so many stories and so much smoke blown up here you know where in my life. All I have to say is if you take it there good luck.
