I urged my mother to take her car here to have it looked at after she took it to her regular place and it it wasn't fixed properly. I had been telling her for years that I felt her regular place wasn't honest. Several of her friends told her they were happy with Burke's and I read great reviews. So she decided to go. When she arrived, she asked for her car to be looked at for a noise it was making. So a man took her name, number and keys. While she was waiting for a ride, another man came along and told her he was tired of dealing with angry people. She wasn't angry. She had never even been there before. She was just looking for help. So she went to get her keys to leave and ran into him again. She asked what his attitude was about and he said he didn't want to work on old cars. My mother is 85 years old and is driving the last car she'll probably ever own. She didn't deserve to be treated this way by some jerk having a bad day!

Burke’s is one of Woburn’s oldest and most trusted repair shops, capable of handling any type of repair you need. They’ve been working on my cars since I bought my first one back in ’84 — and my father was a customer even before that. A true family tradition of great service. Happy motoring!

Shortly after, I came back for an inspection sticker, and today I found out my tire sensors needed new batteries—which they replaced on the spot. Every visit has been seamless, and their professionalism is unmatched. I can’t recommend this business enough!

I then mentioned my other car that just failed an inspection at another garage, and I was unsure whether the rejection was justified, and Burke's offered to check it out for no charge. I bought my car to Burke's the next day and got a courteous evaluation (yes, unfortunately, the repair was necessary). There was no attempt to upsell or extract some money.
