Eurosport Performance

I went to Eurosport Performance in Wakefield for the first time and was genuinely impressed. Nick was patient throughout my various phone calls as I was shopping around. He treated me like family from the moment I arrived, giving me a walkthrough of the garage and sharing a bit about their 15 years of history. Nick performed an oil and filter change using quality Motul 8100 Eco-Clean 0W-20 oil and an OEM Mann filter. He also rotated my tires (straight front-to-rear), and included a complimentary maintenance inspection where he checked the tires, brakes, and fluids. In meeting Tony, I could tell that this father-son operation is worth the money. It’s rare to find a shop that combines professionalism, transparency, and genuine passion for what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance.

Great experience again. Nick is honest, only recommended what was necessary, and completed the service on time. This was my second visit and it’s nice supporting a reliable small business. Looking forward to coming back for my next service.

I’ve was a faithful customer to another European mechanic for 5 years. I have a ten year old mini and only trusted them with it thus far. My transfer box went and they quoted me basically what the car was worth to repair it, which was really upsetting because it wasn’t even drive-able without the repair and I REALLY didn’t want to be forced into buying a new car. I just took their word for it until my husband told me to call around for another quote. I called Eurosport and they seemed very nice and honest, and told me they would look at the car to make sure that was what’s going on/quote me a price. The quote was SUBSTANTIALLY less. I was so relieved that my car could be fixed for a reasonable price. I wanted to get it back before I wrote a review. It’s running amazing and they have my business going forward. Easily to deal with and kept me updated when it would be ready as it was a pretty big repair.

Really the most amazing car service I have worked with in my life. From the time I called and asked for an estimate till the time I picked up my car I was extremely happy. My partner and I dropped off his Audi to have the break pads, sensors, and rotors replaced and what Nick quoted me was the exact price when I came to pick it up no hidden or additional charges. Nick kept me up to date and was able to pick up the same day. Extremely wonderful customer service and Nick and Tony do truly wonderful work here. This will be our new spot for all work on our cars.

I don't often leave reviews but I felt the need to for this place to warn other potential customers. Where do I even begin..These guys are the absolute worst. Do whatever you can to not go near them at all costs. They might be really good mechanics but they're very shady and deceptive. Their reviews and website sold me, and I really wanted them to work on my car because of the work they claim they do. However, the price that they give you is never the final price. I spoke with the owner (Nick) about having my engine replaced(blown head gasket) over the phone. He said it'll take $1200 to do the job but bring it in. I brought my car in the next day and he said it might not be the head gasket but leave it at his shop and he'll take a look at it because there could potentially be a cheaper fix. A week goes by and I called him in between to ask about the car and he said he hasn't had a chance to look at it yet. He then tells me "it needs a new engine, the head gasket is no good". I questioned if he really took a look at the car and really wanted to charge me the labor for replacing the engine in the first place, and that "taking a look to see for other issues" was just a way to sell to me. So then he tells me it will take $1500 to replace the engine. I'm not sure how it went from $1200 to $1500 but okay. After a week of thinking about it, I go to his shop before purchasing the engine to finalize the plans. I asked about the rotors to see if they're still good, he said "it's an older car, so that's normal wear and tear", I said so, for "$1500, you'll do the job and make sure that it's all set?" He said, "For $1500, I'll take care of everything". I order the engine and give him the heads up that the engine is coming in today. He said, "Good to know" (In a disappointed voice, like he wanted more money for the job and accepted too little). Weeks go by after the delivery of the engine and I kept following up and he always said "he's busy", I asked about the condition of the engine that I purchased from LKQ, he said "it looks good". Then a month later he tells me to come in. At this point I knew something was about to happen. He tells me given the condition of the engine, "they butchered everything" and to work with this type of engine, it'll cost me $2200 now to do the job. I asked him, "Didn't you look at the engine before accepting delivery, and tell me it looked good?" He said "yes but just a quick look". Now I have spent $1200 for an engine and $300 for delivering it and I don't know what to do with it. I asked if he'll help me deliver it to another shop, he said he will only put it on the truck for me but not deliver it to my destination. This guy is seriously the worst to do business with. Not only did he make me dish out $1500 for an engine but won't help me bring it to the new shop even though this mess is his fault. If you guys see an engine parked at his shop near the garage door, you will know that it belongs to me. Do yourself a favor, and find another trustworthy mechanic in Wakefield. Best of luck to you all. **In response to the owners post - There is no need to lie or make false statements. The pictures are my proof. My engine was left outside in the rain for many days. Nick didn't even have the courtesy to leave the engine inside the shop (shows how much he cares about his customers cars and parts). How can someone agree to a price to fix a car and then change their mind once they know they have leverage? What am I supposed to do after spending the money to have an engine shipped out to the shop only to find out that the mechanic wants $700 more to do the job? Clearly he knows that he has me and can demand more money since I already paid for the engine and shipping. Honestly, I wish things didn't go this way and I wanted to work with Eurosports but I cannot do business with a place like this.
