I've had many visits to Walts Auto Service over the past 20 years for a wide variety of services, from simple services like oil changes, rotate tires, and inspection stickers, to new tires and brake jobs, to engine work and suspension issues. My latest experience was for heating and air conditioning work and fan motor replacement on our family favorite Corvette. I've always been completed satisfied with all jobs done and the work completed at a very fair price. The girls in the office and the guys in the garage are always pleasant and knowledgeable. Brought in truck for front driver's side noise. Vibration in floor .Walts said it was front brakes. Replaced brakes. Spent $ 1200.00. Noise still there. I brought it back. They said the rear end is causing the vibration and now I also have abs issues . $6000.00 to fix it. I I told them what I thought it was to begin with. They ignored my input. I did my own diagnostic. Ford uses an IWE system that relies on a vacuum keep the 4wd actuator disengaged while in 2wd. I used a hand vacuum pump and tested it myself and found it will not hold a vacuum at all. The noise was the actuator engaging due to loss of vacuum. Now driver's side shaft is spinning as if it were in 4wd. That's the vibration I'm feeling. Charged me another $125. Diagnostic fee. Left with more problems than I started with Long time customer, very disappointed.

Got me in quickly for a wheel hub replacement. Repair was completed quickly. Quote was clearly communicated and final price was exactly what was quoted. Additional work I was aware of being needed was recommended, but not pushed. Price was within the range expected, but on the higher side of that range, though the quick appointment and speedy completion made it worth the little bit of extra cost vs other shops I had shopped. Overall, a good value, especially considering the customer service.

They always do a great job with my car, I’ve mostly gotten oil changes. There’s occasionally oil marks on the car where maybe they placed their hand but it’s nothing I can’t clean off. They are quick to get my car in to be seen and just as quick to get the car back. They don’t harass about picking the car up right away, they don’t overcharge or do work without permission and they let me know what I would need to pass inspection. (They even offered to do my tag IF I didn’t have the issues I have)

I purchased four new tires and charged $125 a tire $80 mount and balance a total of $611.25. I was never told what kind of tires that I was getting, just the size, tire 215/55R17. I have no information on the tires , if they are all seasoned. I took information off the tire which it is Prinx Highcity HH2. Which I feel is a very cheap tire and not worth $500 for for tires. When riding it out of Waltz I was expecting a smooth ride , when on a smooth road , but I hate the feel of the ride. I hate the tires. I spent $2882.01 total on repairs and expected a better ride. I feel every nook and cranny of the road, through the steering wheel and seat. I really want to go back to them and see if I have any options on these tires.
