My wife's 2019 Prius only has 19,000 miles on it but the dealer claimed it needed a lot of work. I took it in for an inspection sticker, oil change, and tire rotation and they recommended another $1300 of work. Mark determined that the A/C refresh and brake fluid exchange were not needed. He explained why the rear brakes DID warrant replacement, due to rotor corrosion, and did so at 75% of what the dealer wanted.

Great experience with them. They performed a repair on my car at significantly lower cost than the local dealership, came in slightly under budget, and did the work in the time predicted. They were easy to work with, communicative, and friendly. Planning to return to them for any future work!

Alexander Automotive has done it again! I bought my first car a couple years ago from a dealership that was less than transparent about its problems, and so it has needed a decent amount of work. After hearing about this shop from my sister I brought the car in - and knew after that first visit that I’d found a trustworthy, honest, and fair mechanic. Mark has been wonderful - he does excellent quality work, does it in a timely manner, and is transparent about problems he has found and costs upfront. He has done work on my car ranging from routine oil changes to a new wheel bearing last spring and, most recently, CV axle replacement and fixing my exhaust hanger. Each time he has been friendly, straightforward about the problems and work needed, and incredibly patient with answering my questions which is rare and very nice as a first time car owner. Mark is just overall a great mechanic to work with and a friendly guy, and I cannot recommend his business enough.
