Absolutely dread getting my state inspections done, long waits, aggravated techs, no waiting area etc… But not the case at Main Street! I’ve been getting state inspections for over a decade at different places and this was by far the friendliest and quickest experience i’ve ever had! Shout out to Carlos and the attendant working here!

My man went for an inspection, they gave him attitude the second I got there, snapping fingers at him asking for the car keys, taking their sweet time while there aren’t any customers. They did the inspection, gave a receipt, no paperwork indicating what passed. When he went back to go grab it, the worker told him he had to “speak up” for the paperwork😂! Got into a confrontation with my man over him not doing HIS job. Just outright disgusting behavior and attitude, shitty customer service. And to be a Hispanic/latino man and saying “you Americans” to a customer is wild! They do not deserve to be in business. Update your website, hours, and customer service before you come talk to a customer negatively. Or maybe, if you don’t like your job, get a new one!!!!!!!

Shout out to Carlos runs a well oiled machine, pun intended. Went in for oil change and inspection sticker with no appointment place was packed and I was in and out in 35 min. Great value too.

Went in for an inspection with a fully working car. During the inspection they damaged my cars OBD-II reader, causing me to fail inspection because of it. My mechanic said they either mishandled it or were using unapproved devices that caused the pins to spread and no longer make connection. When they handed me the failed inspection statement they said if I could get it repaired by end of day they "would give me 30 dollars back". Ridiculous.

Pretty terrible experience start to finish. I don't write reviews and wasn't going to write this until I saw what I did and was left with no choice, which will be explained at the end accompanied with a photo. I'm not going to be nitpicky about this to shine light on the more important parts here, although there's plenty more I could say. Despite that, it will still be a long review. Apart from going in there and having to personally walk through the garage myself twice so I could get some help and just being a confusing experience where a mechanic wouldn't even guide me at the very least and the guy doing it doesn't even speak English, my car was not treated properly whatsoever. I went in for a state inspection and oil change and, at some point, was also cut in line by someone the mechanic knew, like another reviewer had said about his wife's experience. When my car was finally done, my silver interior on the driver side was nearly ruined, brown smudges all over everything, all the way from the power seat buttons to the floor mat to the ceiling of the car. I had to deep clean it all carefully. My brand-new floor mat with white accents was not able to be restored. I was extremely unhappy from that, but that wasn't the worst part. After that visit, my car has had an annoying noise from the front tied to the oil temp I think that won't go away. After a while of it remaining there, I decided to open my hood with my friend, and we couldn't believe it. As shown in the photo I added, my dipstick was crushed by the hood and bent out of shape. I have been driving around without the dipstick in the tube. Had this fallen in the wrong spot, my car would have been ruined and I would have been put at great personal harm. This is absolutely unacceptable. I was very lucky. How can you not put the dipstick back in as a mechanic? Best thing out of all this was that I still had my dipstick and it was caught in the hood, so it wasn't loosely floating around, that's the bar that was set here. Also, the noise is still there so it definitely wasn't the dipstick. Now this begs the question if any of the work was actually properly done, because I had my suspicions prior to this even being noticed. If only there was something to reference... because you don't get a Repair Order or any other sheet of paper for the work that was done. And this was all while I patiently waited in the waiting room, so how much worse could it have been if I wasn't there? Probably not that much more seeing as what happened when I was just 30ft away.
