A few weeks ago, my best friend, Charlie Fernandez, had gotten into a minor fender-bender, causing damage to the passenger side of his black 2017 Toyota Highlander. The vehicle was picked up at MJS Towing in Hyde Park by Schlager's tow operator, Ron E. The vehicle was then towed to Schlager's Autobody to be repaired. 3 weeks later, his vehicle was repaired and back on the road. In addition, the mechanic technician had noticed that a transmission hose had a leak, and it needed to be replaced. The technician had pointed this out to Charlie, and he agreed to have it repaired. The new hose arrived from Toyota, and the technician repaired it at no additional cost! I would also like to add that the owner, Jimmy, had given him a ride to the T station and had one of his drivers pick him up and brought him to pick up his vehicle at Schlager's. They went above and beyond for my best friend! Thank you, Schlager's, for such outstanding quality service and customer satisfaction! I recently had my Jeep repaired at Schlagers Auto Body in Quincy after it was hit in my parking lot during the February snowstorm. GEICO referred me to Schlagers since they’re an affiliated repair shop, and I’m very glad they did. Because of nationwide parts delays, my repair ended up happening in three stages—but throughout the entire process, Schlagers was consistently friendly, professional, and communicative. Rear body repair — The first visit was to repair the left rear quarter, replace the taillight assembly, straighten the body, and repaint the area. The paint match is perfect; you’d never know anything happened. When I inspected the Jeep before leaving, I noticed the tailgate wasn’t closing correctly. I pointed it out, and they fixed it immediately on the spot with zero hassle. Hardtop replacement — The second visit was to replace the full hardtop once the part finally arrived. This took only a day, but because replacing a full hardtop requires swapping all the glass, the rear defroster contact tabs broke during installation. It wasn’t their fault—just one of those things that happens with Jeep glass. Rear glass replacement — Once the new connectors came in, I returned for a quick visit. They replaced the rear glass and defroster kit in under an hour. Across all three visits, Schlagers kept me updated, coordinated everything with GEICO, and made sure I always knew what the next step was. They were honest about the parts delays, clear about what needed to happen, and never tried to upsell or dodge responsibility. Every interaction felt straightforward and trustworthy. The work itself is excellent, the communication was even better, and I never felt like I was being given the runaround. I genuinely believe Schlagers did everything they could to repair my Jeep properly despite the supply‑chain delays that were outside their control. I highly recommend Schlagers Auto Body to anyone who wants quality work, honest communication, and a shop that stands behind what they do.

My car was towed here after a minor accident where I lost control in the snow and hit a tree. The tow truck driver was wonderful and even drove me home from the scene of the accident. The owner, Billy, who I believe is who I spoke to, was not so wonderful. I stopped by here twice while my car was being held at the tow yard to collect some things out of my car, both times, without having even looked at my vehicle or having any idea of the damage to my vehicle this man suggested to me that my car was likely totaled. The first time "because its a 2015 and you hit a tree" and the second time because the adjuster had stopped by and not come into the office afterward which he said he would normally do "if the car wasn't totaled". To be clear, the car was not totaled and is now being fixed at a different shop. I could not believe this mans lack of tact and awful customer service skills, I probably would have considered having the work done here for the convenience as my car was already there but Billy made it very clear that he did not care about me or my car. Incredibly rude and unprofessional and unnecessary added stress onto an already stressful situation.
