I know I needed a new muffler and my husband recommended Lou's in Boston (South Bay). There there were multiple locations so I chose Quincy. You can book an appointment online at this location. I made it for Saturday, March 14 @ 8:30 am. My husband took the car to the appointment. He said the waiting area was small. I like that there was a complimentary multi-point inspection done on my car with color photos. I took a star off because the universal muffler they had in stock did not fit and another one had to be ordered. This took a little longer and we had to pay the difference. If you need a muffler don't hesitate there are locations all over Boston.

I had my car in for an NHOU undercoating and was very pleased with the service and friendliness of all the staff at Lou's. The online booking process was incredibly easy, the staff were all knowledgeable and pleasant, and the price beat out a lot of other shops I spoke with. The price I paid was actually less than what one of the staff estimated because they said that they used less material than expected for my undercoating-- I thought this showed a lot of transparency and honesty when they could easily have stuck with the original number.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 that the exhaust all of a sudden became extremely loud. Which was kind of cool but bad for the engine. I went online on Friday and was able to book an appointment for Saturday at 11:00. I arrive at 10:45 and the took me in right away. After about five minutes they came out and explained I had a leak at the coupling and I had two options. Order a new coupling and setup or cut out the piece and weld a new piece in its place. Both would be about 160 but the welding option they could do same day in about a half hour. I chose the welding option. They had it all done by 11:30 and I was out of there at 11:35 for 169 bucks. They could have told me I had to replace the whole exhaust for 1100 dollars but they didn’t. This place is awesome and they did a great job and it comes with a two year warranty. I’m over the moon happy with their professionalism and their thoughtfulness for the customer and not only saving me money but doing the work the same day and within a half hour. I will never go anywhere else for exhaust work truly they are the best. They came highly recommended from some of the guys at work and they delivered. Thank you so much Lou’s custom exhaust. I truly appreciate it. They are the go to by far. And no I’m not employed by them. I work in fire suppression and have for the past 18 years. Thanks again.
