Worst experience of my life. When I was given a mountain of paperwork to sign, I looked to see what I was signing, Joel says, “Oh, you’re one of those, I need to get home”. I was inconveniencing him. Paid cash. After all the paperwork was signed I then found out I couldn’t take the car. They can’t register it. Not even a temp plate to get home. They said it will take a week or so. They send 2 runners to DMV and meet me there. You pay first then we register. OMG!! With 4 kids I have bought many cars over the years from CT, RI, NJ, NY, PA and now MA. I left infuriated at their attitudes and lack of customer service. They just laughed and didn’t care. I left with no paperwork other than my bank check receipt. I made an appointment at Norwich DMV online for the next day 1 pm knowing they wouldn’t. I emailed and called them the next day. Said, I have a 1 pm appointment at DMV and just send someone to register and I’ll give the plates to the runner. Just put them in the trunk of the car and my son will pickup the car at the dealership after work. Long story short, the runner drove my brand new car to Norwich CT and back to the dealership instead of taking their own vehicle. I was livid!!! I couldn’t take my car home yet they could use it for their business use putting on 170 hwy miles. This place is run by a bunch of incompetent high schoolers pretending to be adults. Can’t believe they remain in business. Wish I saw these reviews prior to purchase. Only reason I went here is because they had the vehicle I was looking for. My original dealership in Fairhaven went above and beyond to try to get this car for me but never even received a returned phone call from Nucar. Worst experience ever with Nucar

This place will take your car, not give you a loaner, keep your car for weeks without calling you, and on top of all that they will give you attitude and excuses when you call to ask them about it. It's almost like their job isn't to fix your car or something. Do yourself a favor and go to Quirk, these clowns are an abject failure in everything they attempt to do.
View on GoogleI came here because following an oil change at Townfair tire they said I had a leak somewhere that needed fixed, and recommended I use a dealership as it may be under warranty. Well, the mechanic at Nucar said I had several “critical” issues. $4k total of issues that aren’t covered by warranty. So, my gut said this isn’t right. My car isn’t that old. (2020) I took my vehicle to another mechanic who also did a full inspection, and he found a couple issues that cost $600 total. I asked him to check the other things that Nucar mentioned were in critical condition, and guess what, everything looked great! Just be careful. I will never return.
View on GoogleSame issue 3 times in 6 months. Drop car off, nobody calls. Car sits there for weeks on end. Pathetic communication, even worse technical skills. Never have any loaner cars either, but it’s not their fault just ask them they will tell you! This place is an absolute joke, don’t even bother. Hope you don’t need your car to get to work because it’s never leaving this black hole. But keep paying that bill for it every month!
