Nicole, Paul and the rest of the team here are the 5/5. They resolved a mysterious squeak in my v90cc, that turned out to be an issue with cam seals covered under a TSB/TJ by Volvo. The dealership has employed an AI / automated scheduler, and it’s clearly slamming their service department. My car was gone a week, and as one of my primary vehicles for children, a loaner would have been great. The AI scheduler never asked if I needed it, and it wasn’t available to me when I dropped my car off. This dealer offers no hber or lyft services, where another Volvo dealer on the south shore did. I was left with a cool $60 round trip to service the car, which ultimately thanks to the people at the dealership was $0 as a CPO car under extended warranty. The people are excellent, and deserve to be supported by real people that work with them, not fake people (ai agents) that make their work harder. Hope someone at herb chambers (are you there, herb?) reads the tea leaves and hires some good people. Let real people use ai, don’t replace them with it. “cost savings” are going to end up costing you more when the team can’t get cars out on time.

Service reps are excellent. Colin, in particular, goes out of his way to make certain you understand the service to be done and any charges. I had schedule a loaner but was surprised that it ended up being an Enterprise rental. That and that it took 3 days for a routine 30k maintenance were not what I’ve grown accustomed to at Herb Chambers.
View on GoogleComplete lack of communication! Dropped off car for scheduled service with their app telling me we are working on your car and it should be ready by 5pm. No other communication until I called at 5:30pm and left a voicemail for my service person and no response. Called at 8am the next day and she told me they hoped to get the car in today. When I told her that I had left a message for her the response was I haven’t checked my messages yet. Finally got my car back the next day and I needed to reset the tire pressure notification and the time for service notification when I start my car. Not sure what is happening there but I had been going to them for years and never experienced this before.

View on GoogleTook my sons new Volvo in for oil change and full check up (brakes, tires, full check up) and initial only communication was thru a video link and email. Had extreme difficulty connecting with live service attendant. When I did speak live with my service rep the experience was far better.
