Giving a shout out for some exceptional work. Needed some exhaust repair on a '99 4Runner. Scheduled appt on short notice. Not a problem. Dropped it off a little late. Not a problem. Explained what I thought was needed and they got it done plus something I missed, and they did it right. Looking for a shop that has the skills, creativity, and flexibility for something that might be other than the ordinary. Check out Lou's Custom Exhaust.

View on GoogleThis was the only place found that could replace a rusted out flex joint in a Toyota stainless steel exhaust system. Every place else I went to wanted to replace the entire system, essentially from the engine to the tailpipe, for at least a thousand dollars more. These folks just replaced what was actually worn out, and they did a great job.

At the North Reading location, Josh helped me, brought the vehicle into the garage and inspected. He showed me exactly what was going on, we discussed options and I ultimately had the repair done with them. I could not have been happier with the speed of service, quality of the repair and the staff present. They respected my time and budget. I stopped in with an unexpected exhaust issue, and not only did they take me in right away, they absolutely refused to let me leave until my car was safe to drive. They went above and beyond to give me a solid temporary fix so I could get back on the road without worrying. Their honesty, professionalism, and genuine care for their customers really stood out. You don’t find many places these days that prioritize safety over speed or profit, but these guys do. If you need exhaust or muffler work done—big or small—this is the place to go.
