Independent Tire & Auto Repair

I had a slow leak in one of my tires that ended up being due to a screw. I called Independent Tire in the morning and despite them being busy they fit me in same day with the car all set by noon. Mary the owner was very professional and helpful with questions. Prior to looking online I was not aware of Independent Tire but going forward this will be top of the list for tire and other car needs! Thank you for the great and speedy service! - Steve

I went to Independent Tire after being highly recommended by a friend, and I have to say, Mary surpassed any expectations I had. Long story short, the dealership had put a metal cap on my valve stem unbeknownst to me during a service, it was stuck on, I could not get it off, and at my next service the dealership said they were unable to get it off. I was told I would have to have the whole valve stem and likely sensor replaced. I was not happy with this... so I waited to fix the issue (because who has time to keep going back to the dealership for hours). Now we're in winter and my low tire pressure light is on with no way to put air in my tire... so I decided to stop in to see if Mary could help me before returning to the dealership (or alternative tire company). I walked in at 8:30a, Mary told me she could fix it, but it would be a couple hours, gave me scenarios in terms of what might need to be done- including valve stem and sensor replacement. I left my vehicle there, and less than 2hrs later, Mary called me back and said they were able to get the cap off and my vehicle was ready whenever I wanted to pick it up. When I picked it up, she didn't charge me a penny for the service- even when I insisted to pay for her time- she gave me a bag for my wheel lock because the dealership just put it back in my glovebox- and sent me on my way with a hot chocolate bomb!! Talk about customer service. I cannot recommend enough!

I've been a loyal customer of Independent Tire & Auto for several years because I truly appreciate their honest, no-nonsense, practical approach to my car repair issues. On their first day back from a well-deserved July break, I had to bring my car in because its air conditioning failed on the brink of an upcoming 3-hour trip during a heat wave. I knew they'd be crazy busy and maybe they wouldn't be able to get to it before I left on my trip the next day, but I figured I'd give it a shot and arrived there early (it's first-come, first-serve.) About four hours later after I brought the car in and its problem was diagnosed, it was fixed - wow! Excellent service as always, and many, many thanks for the restored a/c comfort - as well as my peace of mind.
