I went to Clay for an appraisal after a minor accident. John and Doug were able to determine that the fender damage was cosmetic only, and Doug cleaned it on the spot! I ended up not needing to file an insurance claim at all. It saved me a great deal of time and unnecessary expense. Thank you both!
View on GoogleThis place will SCAM you!! Stay away from this place. They tried charging me $3,700 to repair this damage. I asked them if this was an accurate estimate and he said yes that’s right. I questioned the $1,250 for “miscellaneous” and he couldn’t give a straight answer. Ridiculous. We took the same car to other repair shops and they confirmed Clay Auto Body is grossly overcharging. We got it fixed by a different repair shop. They fixed it in less than 24 hours and only charged $900. STAY AWAY FROM CLAY AUTO BODY!!! Also the guy at the desk who I had to deal with was rude and arrogant.

The attention to detail, especially with paint matching and body alignment, really stands out. The team is professional, communicative, and transparent throughout the entire process. I worked closely with Tim and he kept me updated on timelines, worked smoothly with insurance, and made what could have been a stressful situation much easier to deal with. It’s rare to find a place you can trust with your car time and time again, but Tim’s customer service and Clay Auto has absolutely earned that trust. It was completed ahead of schedule and I was kept in the loop on timeline and progress. Eder also touched up some accident-unrelated knicks and scratches on my car with leftover paint before I drove off the lot- free of charge. If you want a seamless experience, Clay Auto is the spot!
