Lenny is unfortunately an arrogant prima donna who ignored my specific instructions to replace EVERY part that could fail. He didn’t replace the original fan clutch, after having it off of the car, and it grenaded about 5 weeks later and took out $2000 of new parts. Lenny refused to stand behind his shoddy workmanship and I would not trust him to change a bicycle tire.👎👎👎

Lenny is an excellent mechanic who truly understands the cars that he works on. He is a BMW specialist and his knowledge about the cars he works on is truly second to none. I brought in an E61 530xi from 2006 that I recently purchased to replace the front struts, transmission fluid, and oil. Lenny not only performed this work quickly, he noticed that the front sway bar links needed replacing and also fixed the rear air suspension that the previous owner had fixed in place to lower the car. All this while charging the same price that he gave me before working on the car, and getting it back to me in a matter of days even with the supply chain issues with covid. If you have a BMW that needs any type of service, this is the shop to trust. As a side note, he gives great advice on which used BMWs are best to buy, and has professionally customized many customers' cars for track driving as well.

I took my car for an oil gasket change for 6 hours. Next thing you know, my car doesn't start after the repair. He kept my car 6 days(!) to find what he messed up and to fix it. He claimed that ECU failed and I had to pay $1400 for his mistake. I don'y even know if what he said was true because he refused to give me the old part. I strongly believe that he was lying. Advise for the wise: Stay away from Lenny and and the Landshark Automotive or you will regret. Looking for a decent indie shop that is dependable for your BMW that is out of warranty? I accidentally found this place when I was looking for Autobahn which was the next block over. I didn't have pleasant dealings with Autobahn over the phone. I was essentially sucking it up going there because I didn't want to pay steep dealership prices at Herb Chambers BMW in Sudbury. I walked into Autobahn and waited for 10 minutes for somebody to acknowledge I was even there and I walked out. So I walked into Landshark across the way and was greeted by Leonid "Lenny" as soon as I walked in, he was exceptionally gracious and walked me into his office. I then explained to him on Monday that I needed my two front struts replaced along with front end alignment, coolant system checked (warning light), reverse lamp checked (warning light) and brake fluid checked (warning light). All problems that I had inherited from the dealer where I bought the car used (they failed to disclose). I actually had one of the manufacturer replacement struts but not the other, he was fine with that. I told him that I was in a bind and needed it all done by Friday as I was going out of town. He gave me a quote and then called me on Friday at noon to tell me everything was complete and came in about $100 under the original quote. This original quote by the way was $900 less than BMW of Sudbury!!! Lenny now has a customer for life (or at least for the remaining life of my 2008 BMW 528i). I too was a little surprised to see a few negative reviews on other sites but I have to give credit where credit is due.

Have been going to Landshark for many years. Lenny is great and I have been very happy.
