Stay away from this business. They have wasted my time and money. If I could put zero stars i would. I have have two experiences with the business that have been poor. The first experience was having the business do an oil change on the car that I did not ask for. When I addressed this initially the owner told me that I did ask for the service. However, he did not persist and told me there would be no charge. My recent experience was going in to ask for the AC drain to be cleared because it was clogged. They cleared the drain and called to tell me that my AC needed to be charged for $468. I was working and not thinking so I agreed. That was the mistake that I made. I had recently returned from a 14 hour trip in the car and the AC was working fine. Nice and cold. Since they charged the AC i no longer have AC in the car. I have addressed this with the owner. The first time he stated that I asked for the service and told him my AC was not working. That is why they did the AC charge. This was not true. I left the car to be worked on and the owner stated that they overcharged the AC and the condenser kept starting and stopping because of this. He removed freone and it calmed down. This week the condenser is not firing at all. I returned to the owner and told him of the problem. He said it would take 2 days to work on the car and figure it out. I asked for a refund and told him I did not want to do business with him anymore. He informed me that he could not process a refund. I told him I will be sure to post a review. He said he did not care because the neighborhood trusts him. This business is not honest. You will pay for service that is not needed and have new problems with your car.

Omar (Omer?) Saved my life. I pulled in with a fresh flat tire, he put my donut on for me for free. He then gave me a quote for a new tire of exact brand but suggested a few different garages for a faster replacement. What a guy!

Excellent service from S&E Automotive! Abraão changed my oil, replaced my tires, and serviced my brakes, and he did an outstanding job. Professional, honest, and high-quality service. I had gotten a flat tire on my way to work and AAA put a donut in it, but I needed my tire patched. I had called to see if they could take me, and Omar told me he would take care of me right away. He patched up my tire and I was out of there in 20 mins. He was incredibly helpful knowledgeable and kind.

I am very disappointed in my experience at S&E. We have been taking 3 of our cars there for a number of years and historically it’s been a great experience. However, my 20 year-old daughter took her new car there to get two specific things fixed. They fixed one of the things, decided the other thing didn’t need fixed but instead did $900 worth of other work that was never discussed with us. They said that she had told them that “they could do whatever was needed”. That is really not how mechanics are supposed to work. They claimed that they called her to discuss, but no one answered. There is no record of a call to her. She did speak with them the day they did the repairs to check on the timing and they mentioned none of this. Furthermore, they were supposed to subtract $85 from our bill for a billing error they made on a different car but instead they gave a “free“ oil change that was not requested. I’m afraid they took advantage of a young person learning the hard way how to deal with a mechanic and they will lose our family’s business as a result.
