I do not know how this place has a lot of 5 star ratings. Went to get my car inspected with my brother. One old Hispanic white man who speaks Spanish was very, very rude to my brother for not having his registration ready even though it was our first time going there. My car was next and as he was pulling my vehicle out (didn’t pass inspection by the way, more of this in the end) my brother was trying to move his car to the street, but there was traffic. The man proceeded to honk my horn aggressively and talk badly about my brother. I tell him there is traffic so he cannot move and he tells me in an aggressive tone that traffic does not matter, he needs to move. I am never going back there. My car also did not pass because the windows were apparently too dark but it passed inspection last year and I never got pulled over for it. Now they do not want to pass it. I am taking my business somewhere else. Please do not go here. Apparently the man is always rude to everyone as I spoke with my father about the situation that happened.

There is no nonsense in this place folks. Hard working dependable service, with immaculate knowledge of automobiles in staff all the time. They work quickly for minor or major repairs. This staple in Lawrence has been serving the community for 30+ years and is still strong. When the engine light comes on or inspection time rolls around, I think Salas Auto Repair.

My niece referred me to this place to take my mom car to get inspected. This Hispanic man is rude and he was only complaining about my mom license plates that she needs to remove them. And with all that he still REJECTED my mom car. I know for a fact that he is RUDE .. i would never go there again he could be the last person in this world to do state inspection and I won’t go back to that place.
