My partner needed some exhaust work done to eliminate two holes in irder to get an inspection but wasn't interested in replacing the whole exhaust in an older model car. Lou's was recommended by another mechanic as an option for potentially getting the work done without replacing the whole muffler so brought it in. Took Dennis 5 minutes to get it on a lift and give a quote a diagnosis and the fix. An hour and a half later the job was done. This was my first time there but glad to know about it. The cost of the work seemed fair for me and the car is good for the next road trip. Recommend this spot if you are looking for custom exhaust or to just get the job done without breaking the bank.

I've come to this location a couple of times and have had wonderful experiences both times. The first time I got my car back and the muffler was still a little loud, I took it back and without any issue they made one more fix and it and off I went, quiet as a mouse :) The second time I had to get a gasket thingy replaced, they were able to get me in the next day and have my car done by noon. Super nice staff (Dennis is wonderful!) - reasonably priced and they ensure they do a great job. Highly recommend!

During a short visit to the Boston metropolitan area, in the very last days of 2025, I needed to find a solution for the broken exhaust pipe on my old Subaru. Being redirected to this auto repair shop at a critical time (December 30th!!), I found that "Lou's Custom Exhaust" was exactly the help I needed. The technician present at the time did a fantastic job; he replaced the damaged exhaust piece at a reasonable price. Thanks to his help, I was able to return safely to Montreal. A pleasant attitude and outstanding professionalism, I highly recommend!
