VIP Tires & Service

VIP Lowell has saved me a few times but just yesterday went above and beyond for me. My car stalled as I was on the way to work and check engine light came on. I was able to get an appointment, same day right after work. The two gentlemen who worked with me, kept me informed of what they were doing and explained in detail exactly what was happening. I was given options and recommendations that made sense to me. Turns out both batteries (main and aux) in my jeep were testing bad. One battery was in store, the other had to be picked up from another store. They stayed after closing and did just that. I am so appreciative and thankful, especially since I had Plato travel the very next day. Thank you Raul and the other gentleman at the front. You quite literally saved me! Your kindness and attention to detail do not go unnoticed-THANK YOU!!!

Dropped in on a Sunday after my tire had blown. Alex was very helpful in finding me the right tire, which was tricky because my car is AWD and the tires I have now were a discontinued model. It took some time to track down, but he and the other staff that were around helped pass the time with their friendliness. Ultimately, the work was done that day and I was not pressured into any additional or unnecessary work. And they accepted my AAA membership for a discount. Would go to again and recommend to others.

From finding the right tire to ease of scheduling to clarity in pricing and services and finally closing the service, this was an easy process. Professional and clear communication. An all-around good experience.

I had several wear-and-tear things going on with my 2015 Chevy Traverse that required a handful of visits to get resolved. Engine starter repair and rear brake work was a slam dunk in one visit. For the other set of visits, I was experiencing a low frequency pulsation driving at speed which worsened while veering left or right. VIP brought me out to the garage, with my car on the lift, to show me what they found as the roots of the problem (transfer case, axle, drive shaft). I totally agreed and was given an estimate to either fixed with new or used parts (where available). Wanted it done 100% right so I opted for all new. VIP got misquoted on the price of the new transfer case but was willing to help me out by only charging me their cost for the item. No fault of their own, on this one, but just good customer service to meet in the middle. Well, after these initial repairs, I drove away only to find out that the original problem was still there (maybe having it on the rack sort of temporary alleviated this problem, but as soon as I had went a couple miles, the problem came back). So, brought it back in and mechanic said that my bolt-on right wheel bearing needed replacement and that it was probably a victim of my root problems. The did not charge me for this repair. Unfortunately, as soon as I begin driving, the original pulsation sound was still there. Argh! So, I brought it back and they replaced my left wheel bearing, again not charging me for this repair, and now the problem has been totally resolved (again, another victim of the root problems)! I was fortunate to have a little time on my hands to get my car back asap, but they also accommodated me asap. Sometimes these types of repairs can be challenging, especially for an older vehicle, so I get the iteration needed; but, their owning of the total fix, from the original estimate, is simply outstanding! This kind of total care service is hard to find and it is a no brainer that I will be a long-term customer with this Lowell, MA VIP!!!

The entire tech team was so great and they assisted us in everything. Justin was so good and the technician was so helpful they went and extra mile. Thank you very much Lowell VIP we really felt like the VIPS. We will be back for more service.
