I was scammed out of $4900. I purchased a mini cooper that the owner assured me would pass state inspection. Brought it to a mechanic and they had used bondo to cover the while passenger side frame from several holes. They also tampered with the odometer, advertising the vehicle as 125,000 miles but putting 140,000 on the title. When I brought the vehicle to be inspected, the frame issue was found, REQUIRING A TOTAL LOSS OF THE FRAME along with a bad high pressure fuel pump and battery drain- totaling $3700 in work. Of course, they broke many state and federal regulations but that’s not the worst part. They stated that “i knew about these things when purchased” which again proves that they are admittedly selling a severely altered vehicle. Then they told me to return the vehicle and they will pay me what I paid. Unfortunately under Massachusetts state laws they are also required to refund tax and title expenses (and other expenses incurred). Well. It doesn’t start. It shakes because it doesn’t get enough fuel. And the best part? The frame is held together by bondo and deemed a total loss. And they won’t come and get it. Luckily I was able to pursue a law suit against them. You may not be so lucky

View on GoogleStay away from this shady dealer. My friend was sold a vehicle that was not able to be titled. He refused to refund him and told him that was not his problem. It took calling the Attorney General and threatening to take him to court to get it resolved.
