Carlos is wonderful, fair, kind, and very knowledgeable. I had a dead battery and he was at my home in less than 10 minutes! He cleaned my battery at no charge and offered great advice! He seems like a very honest, sincere family man who runs an amazing service business that puts customers first!
View on GoogleGood afternoon. I will keep it simple and get straight to the point. My girlfriend’s car had to be towed to Carlos Auto Repairs since he was recommended to me from a friend. Her Ford Fiesta was experiencing engine failure. We paid $125 to Cody’s Towing to get the car there. We dropped off the car, told them what was wrong, they took down my information and said they would call me. A little over 2 weeks now, I had given them the benefit of the doubt and patiently waited for a phone call at least for an update or a diagnosis of what is going on with the vehicle. But that never happened. My girlfriend got fed up and so we called to see what was going on with the car since we’ve never heard back. First, Carlos picks up the phone, and can’t even put the phone on hold and is having a total conversation with someone else and I can hear them giving out Personal Private Information and he could not even put the call on hold or silent. Then after waiting like 7 minutes, he finally attends to me and I ask about the car and that we’ll have to tow it out since we need the car up and running asap at this point since school will be starting soon for my girlfriend. He tells me, give me 2 hours and I’ll check out the car please give me 2 hours. My girlfriend was reluctant but of course I said let’s give them another chance and wait. Guess what happened? 2 hours almost 3 past, since I give chances and no phone call. Therefore, we had to pay $225 to Shaheen towing to get the car home to Revere from Lawrence. Costing us not only $350 just to have the car parked there and have the battery go dead? But for our time and business. I don’t know but it sounds pretty messed up and irresponsible to me. In conclusion, let’s first act with integrity since we are dealing with customers, and stay true to your commitment and promise to your customers. Proceed to this auto repair shop at your own risk but this is my experience and I believe this should be known. Please learn from this experience Carlos Auto Repair and do better. It can take 20 years to build a reputation, and it can take 20 seconds for it to come crashing down. Have a great day and thank you.
