I have waited too long for this but i am finally coming open about what has happened to me and my experience at this place. I had my jeep in for a clutch job, was charged 1579. You would think after paying 1500 dollars you would expect them to honor what they’re doing. They did not replace my throw out bearing which they had charged me for in the kit, and also cross threaded all of my transmission bolts. Anyways i got the car after they did the job and it was fine for the first thousand miles and then i started getting a rattle from my transmission every time it was idling or driving under certain rpm’s. I tried getting it into them but they told me it would need a new clutch because it could be damaged from the bad bearing. My thing is why was i charged and didn’t get it replaced? i had taken it to a different shop and they had pulled apart my transmission and has seen that they never changed the throw out bearing and that it was the factory one from the first clutch that was in it prior to the change. My clutch fork was destroyed and the everything else was on the brink of a catastrophic failure. I had to have everything fixed and it cost me a lot.My transmission is permanently damaged.It’s very sad because back in the day this place was very reputable and very good, owner is never there and employees are always cursing and flipping out in the back.In the end i will never be back. Steer away,unreliable,doesn’t honor there work!

I am new to the area and first-time customer. Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for what I thought was a transmission leak. They diagnosed it as a broken oil filter adapter. I checked their prices against the dealer and it was a no brainer to have Total Transmission do the work. Lorry (Spelling?) was awesome and the other mechanic I talked to was a really nice guy. Very friendly and spoke to me in laymen's terms. Great timely service. I will be a customer as long as I live in Plymouth. As far as a Jeep Grand Cherokee....... Junky parts that break a lot and are expensive to repair.

Lady is super rude at front desk. I called to ask for an estimate to replace transmission clutch solenoid. Car was throwing a P0974 code. She immediately said it wasn't the solenoid car needed a new transmission in a very rude tone. When I did some researching BEFORE I called I found that it usually is not the transmission but the solenoid. Will NEVER take my car here and am already spreading the word....

Alicia Roberts 👎 down there your negative review actually gave me great confidence that I would be dealing with direct no none sense service as who would want someone parking on their property when they aren’t even customers there. Spiteful people like yourself are what’s wrong with this Country. You’re not entitled to park anywhere you want. And if Dans car care is so great why didn’t you park there? You were fraternizing their business and figured you’d just park anywhere else. Be kind 🤫 They gave my sister an oil change and didn’t try to sell her filter or any other service. That’s a business that’s not shady
