Drive past Braintree Auto Works on Washington Street and it’s an eyesore every single time. Faded, peeling sign, beat-up blue building that looks like it hasn’t seen a fresh coat of paint or a broom in decades. Open bays stuffed with junk, tires rolling around the lot, zero curb appeal and zero pride. If the outside looks this pathetic and neglected, I’m not trusting them anywhere near my engine or brakes. Find a shop that actually cares how it presents itself.

I was recommended to Braintree Auto Works through a social media post, and I'm so glad I followed through. I went in for a brake and rotor replacement, expecting to hear the usual “you need to replace both front and rear.” But instead, they took a quick and professional check and told me right away that only the rear brakes and rotors needed replacing. Their honesty and transparency truly stood out—especially when so many other shops try to upsell unnecessary work. It honestly made me think, “Wow, finally a place I can trust!” Not only was the service honest, but the price was also very reasonable—cheaper than other places I checked, and there were absolutely no hidden fees or surprise add-ons.
