I started hearing a worrying rattling noise on my drive to work and decided to look up the highest-rated auto shop nearby. That's how I found Bob's Automotive Service, and I am so glad I did. I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I dropped my car off in the morning, and it was completely fixed and ready for me by the afternoon right after I finished work. Mike was incredibly nice, professional, and helpful. Even though the shop was clearly very busy, he went out of his way to squeeze me into the schedule. He is also highly knowledgeable and intelligent—he was able to diagnose the issue quickly and accurately right on the spot. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable for the quality of work and speed of service. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend Bob’s to anyone looking for an honest, skilled mechanic!

I've been bringing my cars here for over 30 years. I have always appreciated is their honesty. They let you know when a repair is needed and when it can reasonably wait. I've never felt pressured into unnecessary work, which is why I've continued coming back all these years. The team has remained remarkably stable over time, and that consistency shows in the quality of the service and the relationships they build with customers. Bob, who recently passed away, was a big part of that. He built the business on integrity and treated people fairly. He is greatly missed. I continue to trust Mike, his second in command and friend and the rest of the team. The new owner seems committed to maintaining the values and work ethic that Bob established. A reliable and trustworthy local garage that has served me as well as my family well for many years.

Wonderful experience! I showed up at 8 am for the evaluation and they were able to do the front and back brakes the same day. My impression was organized shop, friendly people, informative feedback to customer, considerate and fair pricing based on other quotes obtained. I took my older C300 (with 135K miles) on it at Bob’s as I was getting some suspension related noise as well as issues with my speed sensors that brought up ABS & traction lights. I wanted the repairs to be cost effective especially with an older car and that’s exactly what Mike & the team at Bob’s provided. They were able to address specific issues without bringing up any unnecessary repairs, which is what I was hoping for. Would certainly recommend the shop to my friends & family.

They took excellent care of both me and my car. As a woman coming in alone, I really appreciated how comfortable and supported they made me feel. He even arranged a Lyft home and a Lyft back for me, which was incredibly thoughtful. He genuinely cared about saving me money and took the time to thoroughly figure out the cause of the rattle in my car. He explained everything clearly and helped me prioritize the repairs that were most important for my safety instead of pushing unnecessary work. It turned out the noise was caused by two pennies and a marble, and they drove the car four separate times to finally track it down — without even charging me for a diagnostic. That level of honesty, patience, and customer care is hard to find.
