My car is a 2013 Toyota Avalon. I plan to keep it as my primary vehicle for as long as possible. I went online to schedule an appointment for my oil change, tire rotation, check brakes, headlights directional check. From the online scheduling I received a message from Johnna with an appointment date and time. I left the car after lunch and received a call explaining what the mechanic found. My headlights were not seeded and the mechanic corrected that. I did not need new headlights. The vehicle was shaking in the front when braking, I needed rotors and pads on the front axle. Tire rotation was completed as was the oil change. I had googled what the cost might be and the final cost was well under the highest amount I found online. I am grateful that Shelbyville In has this service station. I have referred several friends and family to J&J auto care. It’s very well run and I trust them completely! I highly recommend this business!!!!

Great shop and great folks! Took care of minor maintenance on my Honda Civic Si and also offered me a ride home and back to the shop since I live nearby. Quick work, affordable, no issues. My seat, steering wheel, and mirrors felt like they hadn't been moved which was awesome. No grease marks anywhere, no burning oil smell that indicated any spillage. Very happy and highly recommend! Only thing I would have liked to see is possibly an inspection sheet showing what they checked and the life of my brakes, tires, and fluids (brake fluid moisture, coolant protection level, etc).

Price for parts and labor is very fair and reasonable for a job done right 👍 mechanic was friendly and the lady in the waiting room was very polite as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see them get the part, repair my car and even was able to squeeze in my oil change to boot all in one afternoon! A+++ I am impressed and will be coming back for future car needs.
View on GoogleThe heater blower had stopped working. Only one position on the fan knob worked when it was running. Now every position works. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. And it didn't cost me an arm and a leg either. It is my first experience with J & J and it won't be my last.

Had a wheel bearing failure that also screwed up the cv axle and they replaced the axle at no extra labor cost. Just had to pay for the part. Seems like a very honest and friendly local shop in Shelbyville. This was my first time dealing with them and I would bring my vehicles back here with no second thought. Thanks again!
