I recently went here after receiving a P0A80 hybrid battery error! After exploring many options for refurbished batteries (like Green Bean and Greentec) the choice was obvious -- Motorcells' has higher quality replacements (real, OEM batteries) rather than sketchy aftermarket alternatives. Furthermore, his prices are better than every other service I could find. Chad, the main technician, was professional, kind, and efficient. He got me in within a week and was done in an hour. He even offered to let me use the company car to grab lunch in the area -- something a chain car shop would never do! I declined and ended up having a great time chatting away for an hour while he fixed my car instead. My car works great and I could not be happier with doing business here.

I had new battery replacement in a 15 year old hybrid. After initial research (checking their BBB status, google searching the average cost and scope of work) I called Motorcells. The initial contact was positive, professional and prompt. I chose a new battery with a 10 year warranty and it was ready to be installed in 2 days. With gas prices rising, the thought of even better mpg out of my car (which was getting 40mpg already) is so exciting. I would definitely recommend them.

I only wish he was located in Champaign so we could use his help on all auto issues. If you need help with a hybrid battery or other hybrid issues he is the right one to call!
View on GoogleNot going to lie, I chose Motorcells based solely on the reviews. I figure if a mechanic has a 4.8+ star rating, they must be a unicorn because I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a garage (or really any service provider, for that matter) who I would rate that highly. Until now. Chad was very communicative, always answered the phone and all of my questions, explained the pros/cons of a new vs. refurb battery, and got the job done quickly, not to mention, for an excellent price. I would highly recommend Motorcells.
