Marino's Automotive

Marino's Automotive is fantastic. The owner, John, is honest, helpful, friendly, and fair. I was referred to them a couple of years ago, after a locally known mechanic on the northwest side did a minor repair on my car but also appeared to have secretly drained my AC coolant (and then offered to fix the "mysterious leak that can just show up anytime" for a hefty price). John didn't say anything negative about the other mechanic, he simply explained the facts of what causes AC to blow hot air, and how AC leaks show themselves. He and his team noted that the coolant reservoir was bone dry, tested the lines for leaks, used dye to find any issues, and checked everything else related to AC: no leaks or problems whatsoever. They refilled the coolant and charged me a fair price for that and the labor in searching for a leak. AC has been fine ever since. Because of that, I am loyal to Marino's. They are good people. Alongside normal maintenance and repairs when necessary, they also help me with random things, such as: a few weeks ago, I got a new license plate but the screws in the old plate were rusted and stripped and impossible (for me and some others who tried) to remove. I called Marino's and made a plan to stop in so they could see how they could help. Purely out of curiosity, I called a dealership, and they said that it's a common problem and that they would charge $200 to remove and replace those two screws. That sounded high to me, but either way, if I had to pay that much, I was going to John. His crew took care of the plate easy as pie, and John charged a fraction of what the dealership quoted. See? Marino's is honest, highly skilled, and genuinely cares. I feel safe there and not at all worried about being taken for a ride. I thoroughly trust Marino's, you can't go wrong with them.

I drove past this place daily for a few days and i live in Indianapolis. I could just tell that these guys get busy. They would have different cars every day. I waited a few months to see how my repairs would hold up, and believe me my truck is still quiet as a church mouse. I had them replace the exhaust manifold gaskets on my truck and they even had to drill and tap out 4 head bolts. You couldn't have took my truck anywhere in Indianapolis and got the results that i did from these guys. They know there cars and trucks so if you're looking to get your vehicle repaired do yourself a favor and check with this place first. Thank you Marino's!!!

John and staff do a great job at fair prices. We have a few different models and brands of cars and John has always been able to diagnose and repair all of our vehicles.

3yrs Later and I finally Realized i Haven't left a Review. I Went to Every Exhaust Shop in Greenwood, only to be told my Situation couldn't be Done. Friend of Mine Suggested Marino's, So i Sucked it Up and Drove out There. 40+ minutes 1 way. I Couldn't Have Made a Better Decision!!!!! To my Delight they Told me No Problem, We can Take Care of Your Exhaust. I was So Excited i Went Ahead and Had Them Change the Oil While it Was on The Lift. I don't Trust anyone to Do That, But Marino's Had Earned My Trust That Day and any Day in the Future. They will Always be at the Top of my Elite Shops to Take my Vehicles Too. Cudos To Marino's and their Awesome Staff 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽.....

John does very good work and I trust him very much to fix my car when I need it do.
