No communication before work officially started on my vehicle. I was told initially by Lance that my vehicle's spark plugs probably don't need to be replaced (per the dealership) and instead would need a tune up fuel inj./fuel rails. Didn't hear anything all day until I called after 1:00pm to get an update on what will need to be done with my vehicle. I was then told by Brad that they were almost finished replacing all four spark plugs. I did not receive a price quote prior to the work starting, nor did I give authorization to replace the spark plugs based on what I was previously told by Lance. Very unfortunate to be treated this way by not being kept informed. Good thing the transmission didn't need replaced and them not telling me until afterwards. Also found out AFTER the work was done that the cost was a lot more than what the dealership would've charged. Lesson learned. My family have been customers since the 1970's back when the company was called Camp's. This ended today.

Lance recently had my car in the shop, fixed it and it broke back down twice (with no fault of his own). The systems were running good the first two times and the third it finally ran a problem code. He went above and beyond to make sure that whatever the issue was, it was fixed for good for me. He made it right, not charging me an arm and a leg each time. Everyone at Matthew's is extremely nice and very personable. I've taken my cars t here for years and trust them to always do the job right and at a fair price too. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you want a reliable mechanic, this is definitely your best place to go.

My previous time through, they told me they couldn't fully fix my car (body work), so doing anything before that would be wasted. This time, they told me I didn't fully need what I thought and just fixed what I needed. I grew up in a garage/shop family. It's good having mechanics I can trust.
