Decided to give them a try and took my Ghia's transaxle to them for inspection and repair as necessary. I'm located near Cincinnati, so it's a 4 hr round trip for me. But totally worth it ! They explained the process in detail and I left the transaxle with them. This was on a Monday, the following Thursday they called to let me know it was ready. Went there to pick it up, transaxle is cleaned up, painted, ready to go. Haven't installed it yet, but from what I saw in their shop, I have no doubt that it will be 100% ok. I strongly recommend them for any work on an aircooled VW here in the MidWest.

I guarantee you will not find a better shop for air cooled car repair than Buggy Works Inc. I had a Porsche speedster that was running terrible, clutch slipping and unfortunately sustained body damage when my car hauler was slippery and caused to Porsche to slide off when loading and damaged a fender and bumper. Colby, the owner, and his techs replaced the clutch, fixed the oil leakage, rebuilt the dual carbs and repair the body damage. I could not believe how great it runs now and the body damage is impossible to tell where the damage occurred . The shop kept me informed throughout the repairs and offered suggestions to improve the performance of the engine and the looks of the car. I will never take my speedster any place other than Buggy Works! The quality of worked performed and the communication during the repair could not have been better. The final surprise was how reasonable the cost of the repairs turned out. Do not go anywhere else than here to have air cooled cars repaired. I trailered my car from Lafayette just to get the quality repairs done. I am a perfectionist and expect no less from the people working on my car and Colby and his crew exceeded my expectations in every way.

I have a vintage 1981 Bremen Mini Mark and it was having some electrical issues. Plus some of the instruments were failng as well. I also wanted the front end inspected since it was all original. Dillon and the team at Buggy Works are highly-qualified, friendly, honest and quick. Their communication to me throughout was incredible considering the various things I was needing inspected, replaced and/or repaired. I would not trust my baby to any other!! Thank you Buggy Works, you guys rock!! 🤘🏻💀✝️

I can not express how great these guys are. I love working on my beetle and have been having a ton of problems in getting it to run right. i just about gave up and wanted to set up an appointment to have them fix it. Spoke with Colby and he explained each step on how to fix it. basically they gave me free advice on how to fix my problems with my car. at almost 99% of auto shops, they would never do such a thing because they want your money. these guys really care a lot about the VW community!!! thank you again and will always recommended them
