Been using this place for over a year and my final verdict: They are good. Shane and the others are trustworthy and all around great guys. They have helped me out in a pinch a few times. For scheduled repairs they have been good, standard to other shops in terms of price and quality. They are a smaller shop, so for unscheduled services like oil changes, you will need to get there early... have had a situation or two where I had to come back another day. Also, parking is a bit tight. Overall a wonderful choice if you're looking for a mechanic in Anderson

Nothing is the same since the shop was sold to Hometown. Went in for an oil change and battery check. Oil was changed then they tried to sell me an air filter. Had to tell Cory no twice. Asked about the battery and they hadn’t checked it. Then came and told me the check engine light was on and the fan was running and I needed a new thermostat. Assured them there were no issues when I brought it in. Apparently he didn’t unplug the sensor before removing the cover. Left and had to return less than a hour later because the check engine light came on. Then was told the cover was crooked. They tried to tell me the service tech had 40 years of experience. Trust me the tech wasn’t even 40 years old. Service has gone down considerably since it was sold. I have been going there for over 20 years. We will not be returning.
