Morgan Automotive

I had my car towed to them for an ESTIMATE to be done. When notified with estimate, we told them we have to look at funds BEFORE any work was done. They then, WITHOUT MY APPROVAL, took it upon themselves to order the parts and work on my car. I NEVER authorized any work. If you find yourself needing work done please DO NOT take your car to them, they will take advantage of you and assume you're "just a young college student" the owners words. And he takes advantage of people being uneducated because as the sign in his office says " you can't fix stupid, but you can charge for it". I am neither a young college student or stupid. I beg you not to do business with him. It's Morgan Automotive. The owner is Mike. He's a horrible person and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. UPDATE: My sister and I went to pay for the unauthorized work under protest and they tried to get me to sign something that stated I authorized the work to be done. WE DID NOT SIGN IT! I had to get this car back my deceased uncle drove it. The guy that was in charge tried to get me to sign it by saying " it Just says your picking up the car" it didn't say that AT ALL. When I refused to sign they tried to hold MY car AFTER payment was received. He looked at me and said "you have to sign it or your not getting the car" so we threatened to call the police because they were holding my car illegally. Also if you didn't know the DO charge a fee for paying with card even though I didn't see it posted.. HORRIBLE PEOPLE and HORRIBLE PRICES.

Took a Toyota carolla here to get simple work done, parts less than $200 combined and was quoted almost $1000 to fix it. I asked about some payment options and was told they had none to offer but since I'm a "college kid" (which I'm not) he'd give me a break of about $200. Since I don't have that money lying around, I told them I'd led them know what I wanted to do. The next thing I know, im getting a call at work saying the car is ready for pick up and unauthorized work had been done. Even though illegal, they are now holding the car and plan to charge us for storage because we don't have that kind of money laying around. The Sherrif Dept. was involved and we will be suing. Do not take your car here unless you want to pay outrageous prices for work especially if you don't know about cars. Unhonest owner Mike loves to take advantage of according to the sign in his office "stupid" people.

I had my sister’s vehicle towed to Morgan Automotive to get an estimate and ask about finance options. The shop fixed the vehicle without Authorization then refused to return it. They also threatened to take all of the parts off which is illegal. We had to call the cops and make a report. We will be suing them. The car belonged to my sister’s deceased uncle and meant a lot to her. They also wrote an estimate the day we came to retrieve the car. Do NOT work with them. They stated my sister is “just a college girl,” and, “doesn’t know any better.” They WILL take advantage of you.

I cannot say enough good about Mike at Morgan Automotive. I had a totally awesome experience from start to finish. His customer service was great as was the work he did for me. Mike is honest, fair and got the job done quickly. Mike is also a Navy veteran which calls for a thank you Mike for your service. Steve

Working with Morgan Auto was great. As a full-time traveler it's not always easy to find a honest and reputable mechanic. Mike and his staff were amazing. Had a tune-up and oil change with very fair prices and great communication . Thanks, Kyle @thewanderingshores
