We had an amazing experience with Northwest auto. They explained everything clearly to us and was really able to assist us in an emergent situation. Very honest and truthful, and always willing to help you. Absolutely will not go to any other shop. We love our northwest auto family.

I love this shop. They are honest and fair. I never get the feeling they are trying to upsell me on things I don’t actually need or nickel and dime for the little things. Great service and fair prices.

When you live your life in the same area, you see many business's come and go. It is the strong that survive and they do it through honest and respectable work with trained technicians. Northwest provides that, lets face it today's technology is complicated and you want a reputable shop working on your car. Stop and see Mariska, I think you will be pleased with the results.

you guy's did great! everytime we get in a jam you always seem to get us in a timely manner and get the the job done. it even seems like your fairly priced for the industry probaly could be even better if you were not paying Howard so much money. Ha Ha! Guy

This past 2nd week of October I ended up having my SUV towed here twice back-to-back days from AAA. Why here, because it's a AAA-certified shop and was the closest to my house in Beach Park. Anyways one morning when leaving work (3rd shift) at Abbott Park, my car wouldn't start. Tried and tried but it wouldn't crank over, checked both battery connections which "seemed" solid enough. Made a few calls overall with the worst experience from AAA just getting a tow truck driver to finally arrive nearly 3 hours after the initial call i made. When my vehicle and I got dropped off to this shop, told Pete the issue and he explained that they were backed up with quite a few diagnostics to take care before they could see mine so it was the next morning when they got to mine. The next day early afternoon, Pete calls and tells me that when they pushed my Kia into the shop and tried starting it that it cranked right away. Then shut off the ignition and started it up a few more times over a couple minutes. They did check the battery which they mentioned the positive cable connection was loose so they changed out the cable and connector with a brand new one, tightened and restarted a few times before calling me. Picked it up that early evening just before they closed and started to just fine. Went to work early OT then next morning came and the same issue again, won't start. AAA once again towed my Sorento back to the shop. Pete was shocked to see me back and I mentioned maybe it is the starter, went home and said they'll call to confirm what's really going on and it was the starter. Although the $110 the first time around may have been an extra unnecessary cost compared to the $460 I paid for the new after market starter and labor, would've been much more costly and probably would've ended up paying $600+ for an OEM starter and outrageous dealership labor cost at Classic Kia. I appreciate the fact that they went for the cheapest option first which certainly appeared to be the issue but sadly wasn't. These guys do honest affordable work here and the staff is very friendly here. I hope for decades of continued booming business for the owner(s) of Northwest Auto & Tire.
