VERY shady owner operator. I’m rating at zero stars. Run if you can from this place, they match their prizes 100%. When I pointed out a lower price online, he said he would have to charge 4% credit card fees. This is unheard of. I don’t even think they put on real weights to balance the wheels. They look like fake plastic weights. Only the owner is certified auto mechanic. The rest working there are not certified! They told me my rims were bent, and that would void the warranty of the new tires. There’s no way the rims are bent. They’re not leaking. I CALLED CORPORATE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SHADY PRACTICE, AND THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF EXISTENCE OF THE STORE. I did some more digging and it is independently operated. That means they are just using the tires plus name and he can do whatever. LIKE THE SAYING GOES “YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR”! RUN while you can, please do NOT! have your car serviced here!

Great place I've (unfortunately) had to use for 3 flats over the past year. Lots of building traffic around Waukegan and I keep running over bolts. This place is BUSY, but the service is good. Yes, you might have to wait a little bit to get set up but I've always found them to be polite and focused on helping me, even when they are obviously slammed. They do good work and the price is reasonable. Someone mentioned to me today that the nearby Walmart is their competition. I'm sure they are probably cheaper, but I'd rather have tire work done by a tire place who actually knows what they are doing. I watched the guy today spend nearly 10 minutes to try to get exactly the right fix for someone's car, a fix that ended up costing that customer a lot less than the first one. Literally gave up profit in the interest of customer service. That's the kind of place I like to visit.
View on GoogleThis is the BEST place to go. Great service and honest. As an EV owner, tires and wheels are tricky. The car is heavier than most combined with high pressure tires and aluminum wheels. I've been there 2 times. the 1st for flat tires, they guided me to replace the defaulted summer tires for all weather, in Chicago, it's essential and proved to be a good choice. The 2nd time, for damaged rims after hitting a giant pot hole. They were able to save the rim and saved me a lot of money. Thank you guys at Tires Plus!! Great mechanics, honest and friendly owners.
View on GoogleI find it pretty ridiculous how after me paying for a tire rotation the middle eastern guy wanted to charge me another $40 to relearn the tires like shouldn’t that have been included with the tire rotation??? Then tells tech guy and on my receipt that I opted out of it. Coincidence or not I’ve noticed my car has started making a weird cranking noise when I step foot off the brakes ever since taking it back in the for the tire rotation. Only giving it 3 stairs cause before I had a nail in my tire and a different guy patched it up no problem.
