Sadly, we were misinformed about the name change to Car Fix and went to another shop. Desperation sent us looking for another mechanic. Took a chance coming back here, only to find out the greatest ppl from CarX were still here! We had been going to this shop well over 15 years. Loved the ppl and they were always amazing to us and for our cars. It felt like coming back to one of the greatest places. This time we came for an oil change since the last place we went to caused both of our cars to leak oil and at about $100 each car. Car Fix? Under $60! How great is that?! I'm so glad we're back! Oh, and the best part for me? They have NEVER complained or had issues with working on my Smart ❤️

I had check engine lights on both of my vehicles. They needed a lot of work done. The staff at Car Fix were immensely helpful, timely, informative, and really exceeded my expectations with their services. The work is guaranteed for 2 years which gave me peace of mind and my vehicles were done within the day. Both of my vehicles are running excellent. These guys have the knowledge, tools and expertise to get your vehicle in peak condition. I will be working with them from now on when it comes to regular maintenance and fixes.

My mom took her car into Car Fix. Hector and Aywan did a great job fixing the car. Her car is 20+ years old and they made it feel like brand new. They did a detailed inspection and their service was first class and honest.

This is easily one of the best automotive services shop, ideally called CARFIX!!. Led by a great team - Shaq and manager Hector, I wanted to share a pleasant experience I had. I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata , which had just touched 90K miles. The car suddenly needed more frequent oil changes as the oil light was coming on with in 2k Miles. I had got 2k mile oil changes at a different quick oilchange shops without actually getting it diagnosed. As it started needing oil changes more frequently, I took it to Carfix, who had earlier serviced my car ( transmission oil flush, brakes, etc ). Carfix correctly not only diagnosed the problem, but also suggested a fantastic solution. Engine was burning oil and they conducted a compression test on the Engine to produce a wonderful report that showed low pressure on two of the 4 cylinders. The car needed a new engine. But Hector and Shaq, being the nice guys who care about their customer, suggested I take the car to Hyundai dealer with the report they produced. The dealer ( Libertyville Hyundai ) readily concurred with the report and even though my car was just out of warranty, they pushed for a new Engine out of goodwill. There was a waitlist for it and eventually I got the engine replaced for just around 10% of the cost - roughly $300.00 because my car was out of warranty. What I wanted to highlight was the exceptional service from Hector and Shaq - who did what was best in the customer's interest, instead of pushing for engine replacement at their own shop. For all the diagnostics they did, they didn't charge me a penny and even booked me UBER to send me home while the diagnostics was being done. The car is now ready, and I now know where I will take the car for all servicing - clearly CarFix. Thanks Hector, Thanks Shaq.
