We were 1200 miles from home, in a 62 year old car participating in the annual Hot Rod Power tour. Our car developed a mechanical problem while in the area. We called Freedom Automotive after hours hoping it was a cell phone, but no answer. Later that night we got a call back from the owner, Glenn, I told him our problem, he asked if we could bring the car to the shop now, so they could get started first thing morning. I told him I’d be right there (our hotel was 3 minutes away) thinking I could call an Uber to get back to our hotel, but Glenn responded and said I could use his personal truck until they got our car repaired. I was shocked. As it turned out our car needed rear outer axle bearings and seals. The seals were not in stock anywhere locally and were a two day delivery from out of town. The guys at the shop didn’t give up, they kept on it until they found a source that could get them next day early. The next day they picked up the parts first thing and finished the repairs that morning. They did a fantastic job taking care of us and our vintage car. I highly recommend this shop, good people, honest work, at a fair price is not easy to find. Thank you guys for everything you did to help us.

Big thanks to Jose and the crew at Freedom Automotive, rolled in Monday morning of the power tour needing an exhaust fix on my 83 Fairmont. They had me back on the road in no time, car sounds amazing too.

I was kept informed every step of the way. I will go back here in the future, hopefully far in the future. They did a great job and the pricing was fair for myself and for them. I am happy to have had them recommended to me and I would forward that recommendation.
View on GoogleMy daughter had a problem with a sliding door on her Odessey and the Honda dealer in Joliet wanted nearly $2500 to fix it, replacing the motor and latch etc. I suggested she go to Freedom as I trust their work.
