I came into Mavis Tires & Brakes on 95th Street and Southwest Highway in Oak Lawn, Illinois, and the staff was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. They gave me additional detailed information regarding my vehicle, and every employee was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The wait time was not long at all, and the overall experience was great. I would definitely come back here again to have my vehicle serviced. Highly recommend this location!

Came in with very VERY questionable braking ability just to learn it was all my rotors being warped and in horrible condition, and even one of my back brakes just not engaging at all! Mark helped me understand all that needed to be done without making me feel bad for not understanding the mechanical terminology and overall gave a safe learning environment. Went ahead and replaced all 4 plus some stripped lug nuts and was able to be back on the road same day! 10/10 experience, i will be coming back and using them for my vehicle needs.

During a recent snowstorm, I found myself in a stressful situation when my tires and valve stems needed urgent attention. Despite the harsh weather and challenging conditions, the team at Mavis Tire Shop went above and beyond to help me get back on the road safely. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They worked quickly and efficiently, making sure everything was repaired properly so I could travel with confidence. I would especially like to thank the manager, Scott, and Jeremy for their outstanding support and dedication. Their calm attitude, expertise, and willingness to help during such a difficult time truly made a difference. It is rare to find a team that takes such pride in their work and cares so deeply about their customers. I am extremely grateful for their service and highly recommend Mavis Tire Shop to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy auto care.

I had a pleasant experience with replacement tires on my vehicle with Mark. He was friendly and very helpful. As a result of his customer service, I returned yesterday to receive an alignment; and unfortunately, this experience was not nearly as good. I made an online appointment and confirmed with Scott well before my designated time. We reviewed the services I needed (wheel alignment) and I headed to my appointment. However, when I arrived I was told the alignment machine was wet from storms two days prior and that I would need to visit another store. I understand things happen but it would have saved me time and frustration if Scott had mentioned that over the phone. To top it off, I made an appointment at the Crestwood location and recieved a call that my appointment time may not be honored as a result of an influx of walk-ins. Mark deserves 5 stars but my subsequent experiences have left me frustrated with Mavis.

I love it here!! They are so attentive and professional. I came in because my brakes went out while I was driving to work and I was so frazzled and stressed! Scott was there and his calm & cool demeanor calmed me all the way down. Scott talked to me and explained things to me and reassured me “everything would be just fine” and they would “take care of me” and they did just that!! I ended up needing a lot more than expected (I dont know anything about cars but I knew it was in bad shape.) and I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay for it but Scott gave me several resources & a lot of encouragement to know it would get done & they would work with me. Throughout the whole experience Scott became like a father figure to me and I could tell he was proud when I came in to pay & pick up my car. The rest of the staff are just as professional, knowledgeable, patient & kind. I HIGHLY recommend going to THIS Mavis. You won’t regret it! It feels like I have a brand new car
