Unfortunately this wasn’t the best experience, and I hate to say it because my family has been coming here since they opened. I had my mercury here for new steering parts. They had my car for 3 weeks, with little to no communication on their end of what was happening. I finally pick up the car, and half my dashboard was on the floor. Also, my e-brake release was broken. I now have an airbag light on for a bad clockspring that wasn’t broke before. I mean, if it was broke why can’t a shop fix it? In addition to the no communication, I was not told that they were short staffed so that’s why I noticed the car was sitting just shy of a week. I get the car back, in addition to the other problems, I noticed my steering column covers were loose, come to find out someone buzzed in a WOOD SCREW partially thru a wiring harness. That’s not right or acceptable. Especially from a shop that’s been around for years. Also, there is now a stripped-out hole with no threads, in the steering column. And I was charged $700. So parts are messed up now, because they “lost” the original screws (I found them, they left them under the seat), and shoved a wood screw thru wires, damaging a service I paid $700 for. Upon pickup, I was told that they couldn’t get a clockspring for me and they were “now busy”, and I would have to look for the part on my end. Pictures attached.

I can't say enough about the general customer service of this place! I recently had a flat tire less than a block away from the shop, and took a chance to ask if there was someone who could help me change to my spare so I could go get new tires. I believe his name was Jeff, at the front counter, was totally kind and happily willing to walk over, check out the situation and change the tire. He needed several trips back to the shop as I have an old car and the jack system was not up to par, and the spare was flat. He went back and forth and filled the flat and brought it back and installed it on my car. He never even charged me for the effort! I was able to go on my way and head to the tire shop before they closed and get a new set of tires installed. This type of customer service seems so rare these days, and I'm so appreciative of the fact that they run a shop that would make this type of exchange possible.

I have personally never used this business, although it would appear from their reviews and constantly full parking lot that they do good work and get plenty of business. I am writing this review simply because I enjoy their advertising and the creative slogans that they put on the billboard outside of their shop. I find it amusing and comical. Keep it up!

Best mechanics I've ever been to! They really tell you exactly what's needed, and if they think it'll be under warranty, they'll recommend you go to the dealer! I've always had a really great experience going here. But I like to go to visit with the dogs Penelope and Chevy!
